To say dinner was tense, it was an understatement.

Zach was constantly trying to diffuse the couple who was on edge.

Right now, Jack was drying the dishes and putting them back as Zach rinsed them.

Gabriela was on her phone, not paying attention to Belle, that was hugging her.

"Bee...time to get ready for bed, I need to get the magic dust from my hidden spot and you can't see where it is hun."

"Can momma make me fall asleep? I missed her." She pouts.

"She can." Jack says quietly.

Gabriela sighs and rolls her eyes.

"Let's go." She says sternly.

"I thought you were big enough to do that by yourself."

"She's five...its tough for an active child like her to do so." Zach explains.

"Are you a pediatrician?"

"No but-"

"Didn't think so."She grabs Belle by her hand and walks out the kitchen.

Zach breathes in slowly.

"She's such a fucking asshole."Zach mumbles.

"What did you tell her when you whispered in her ear?"

"That i looked like the hot bitch I am in my skirt."

They chuckle.

Jack pecks his cheek lovingly

"And you did...i think we have some proof of that under that shirt."

"We got a whole bunch of proof...i can't even wear my shorts because there's so many hickeys."

"You're saying that like you didn't like it yesterday."

Zach chuckles.

"I loved it Jacky." They smile.

"Wanna have a smoke in the backyard when she goes to bed?" He mumbles.

"Sure...i wanted to tell you something anyways...its something good, I promise."

"Sure...i can't wait."

The curly head peeks through the door and there was no sign of Gabriela.

He cupped the brunet's face.

Zach pecked him sweetly.

"Talk to me."The brunet says softly.

"I just...feel bad for Bee...she loves her so much but Gabbie doesn't have a ounce of love for her...I feel like yesterday wasn't enough."

He scoffs.

"Maybe I'm not-"

"Lemme stop you right there...you know you're enough Jack...have I ever lied to you?"

The curly shakes his head.

"Exactly...so I'm not lying when I say you're enough...you're an amazing father and Bee loves you dearly...she doesn't understand what's happening between you and Gabriela, she just wants some love."

Jack nods.

Gabriela gets in the room.

"She's asleep...im going to bed. tomorrow I want the usual for breakfast."
