Thomas POV
"Do you want some tea?" I call, hobbling from the sofa and over to the kitchen counter.
"Yes please!" Emily yells back from her room.
Opening up the tea bag box, I pick out the last two tea bags and plop them into two mugs. One of which Emily's old High School Musical mug.
After preparing the it the only way it should be prepared, I hobbled to Emily's room and handed her the cup.
"You know my favourite cup" she smiled warmly.
"Of course I do, it's high school musical" I chuckle. "you know I'm the poorly one, you should be doing this?" I laugh.
"Yeah but after 2 weeks of waiting on you hand and foot, I deserve a measly cup of tea" She clicks her tongue, taking a long slurp from her drink.
"Your so un-British, you do not slurp your tea" I scold, smirking at her.
"Well how about this... Sidewalk" She said, whispering the last part. Gasping, I narrow my eyes at her.
"Pavement" I conclude
"Line"
"Que"
"Stall"
"Cubicle"
"Ok, Britain is better" Emily concludes.
"Knew it, I mean what even is a 'stall'?" I say, putting quotations around the words 'stall'.
"It's a cubicle but on the other side of the road" Emily laughs. Looking at her, I begin to laugh too, as her eyes squint, and her rosy cheeks grin, I just begin to laugh more. All of our miserable moods lift from the room, as we laugh off anything that may have built up.
Looking at Emily, I study the curvature of her face, the way her eyes crinkle as she smiles, or how her hazel eyes sparkle even when she shadows them. How she holds her stomach as she laughs, or the occasional freckle dotting her nose.
Our laughter begins to die down, but I couldn't help but continue to stare at Emily, despite how creepy it is.
Soon enough, I find myself leaning closer to her. Slowly, I give myself time to study her in more detail, small little dimples pop from her cheeks, even when she's not smiling, and her eye lashes are long and dark.
Placing my hand on her soft skin, I trace my thumb over her temple, over her chin, soft, pink lips, her eyes brows. She shuts her eyes happily, before closing the gap between us.
I keep my hand on her cheek as I keep my lips still on hers. Not that I didn't want to take it deeper, but this wasn't the moment. Right now was for seeing her in detail, feeling her in detail, and truly understanding the face of Emily.
Slowly, I press small individual kisses trailing from her lips, to her cheek and her temple. Then I lead my lips down to her jaw, then to her collar bones, where I continue only to leave individual soft kisses.
Coming back up to her face, I kiss her once more, before pulling away.
"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?" I whisper, my lips brushing hers slightly as I speak.
In return she flashes me a smile, before hopping up and walking into the living room. Like a lost puppy, I follow her to the sofa and sit beside her.
"Now I've never shown anyone this, but I feel like I need someone's opinion" She sighs, before handing me her open laptop.
Why, oh why did his heart stray from mine. Did my kisses to him not hold enough passion, entice him long enough to keep him forever mine? Only in my distraught whirls of varying emotions, do I realise the intentions behind his distance when we slept so peacefully, his short kisses, only enough to keep the attention span of a fish.
Now, wondering in our old room, I know why his heart left before his body did. Oh, his beautiful body, his soft blonde hair, his piercing blue eyes, his strong, comforting arms, which once held me close to his constant thumping heart. It wasn't my lack of sexual intention, or my non-perfectly curled hair... It was another woman.
My eyes read Emily's beautiful words carefully, paragraph after paragraph enticed me.
"Wow, that is amazing" I mutter, as I continue to read.
"Really? I've been working on it for a few months now and thought someone should see this chapter."
"Well trust me, it's beautiful, just like you"

ITS SO SHORT IM SO SORRY. I MADE YOU WAIT SO LONG AND YOU GOT THIS CRAP. SORRY.
I've had a few hurdles recently which were proving pretty hard to jump, but none-the-less I jumped them with a smile on my face.
Hope you guys have a lovely day ❤️
