Just chill

I opened my eyes slowly, the sound of soft breaths could be heard from above my head. Looking up, Thomas' face rested peacefully on the arm rest, as my head lay gently on his chest. Ever so carefully, I took my phone from the floor. 9:58am. It wasn't exactly early, but noe late enough to have the right to wake up Thomas.

That was when I realised the day. Monday. Groaning loudly, I wiggle out of Thomas' grasp. Stupidly I had fallen asleep at Thomas' in front of a movie. Thomas starts to stir behind me as I carefully slip on my shoes.

"What?" He asks, his fluffy hair sticking in all directions. His bemused face looked adorable as he rubbed the lingering sleep in his eyes.

"Were late for work silly, we slept through both of our alarms" I laugh.

"Crap" He mumbles. "Lets just go in the clothes were wearing now" he decides, slipping on his shoes, and getting his keys. Laughing at his rushed state, I get up slowly and follow him to his car.

"How are you so cool about this? We're 20 minutes late!" He panicks as he starts up his car, and pulls out of the car park.

"Because its not like they can fire me, we've already filmed scenes with me in it, and there are more to come, and how can they fire you, your one of the main characters, just chill" I explain. Thomas' body relaxes behind the wheel as we pull onto the main road.

The summer breeze from the open windows, blew gently on my face, my hair pushed back genlty onto the frame of my face. Green trees whizzed past the small car as we drove through the beautiful roads of Louisiana.

We finally reached the set. The sun was shining brightly as both me and Thomas walked casually ovet to Mr Ball.

"You two are 20 minutes late! Where the hell were you?" He asks, obviously slightly annoied.

"On my couch, specifically, but then in the car, then here" Thomas says back, a slight hint of sass hidden in his voice.

Mr Ball just grimaces at us both before turning back to the camera men, directing them here and there.

Laughing quietly, I walk back over to the make up truck.

"Hey Emily!" The Makeup artist, Eva waves, as she brushes brownish eye shadow to Dylan's neck.

"Hey" I smile, sitting on an a empty stool.

"So where were you and Tommy then eh?" Dylan asks wiggling his eyebrows.

"We fell asleep in front of a movie, unaware of the time, thats all" I giggle, as he nods sarcastically.

"Of course you did" He says, still sarcastic. A small snicker was heard in the corner of the room. A girl I recognised sat on the sofa, her cheeks slightly red, knowing her laugh could be heard.

"Oh right, Emily, this is Kaya whose playing Theresa" He says, gesturing over to the not-so-mystery girl. Smiling politely at her, she mimicks my actions, and comes closer to both me and Dylan.

"I'm not incapable Dylan" She giggles, pulling me into a quick hug.

"Yeah Dylan" I say accusingly, before laughing along with Theresa.

"Oh God... why did I introduce you to eachother..." He groans, throwing his head back, only get it pulled back up right by the stylist, before mumbling a quick 'sorry', and sitting still.

"So I hear your getting 'friendly' with Thomas?" She smirks, as Dylan's face mimicks hers.

"No! We're just friends" I laugh.

"Oh please, I watched the baseball, Dylan made me. I saw how Thomas looked after you kissed him, completely and utter infatuated with you" I blush slightly, brushing off unknown feeling in my stomach.
