The Pier

My eyes part slowly, the chirping of seagulls relaxing, making me want to shut my eyes again. However, that desire was interrupted when the memories of last night with Thomas crept up on me.

The way he caught me off guard, all because I was teasing him hours before. That boy did know how to hold a deal.

Turning over, I watch as Thomas' full lips part in a yawn, before his eyes slowly open.

"Morning" he whispers, a small smirk playing on his lips.

"Morning" I giggle, before taking his hand in mine, and placing it on the pillow by our heads.

"Wasn't last night quite abrupt?" I whisper, tangling my legs in his.

"No way, you were bloody asking for it" Thomas winked back "all morning you were teasing me"

"But it worked nonetheless" I justify.

"I guess, but it was brutal torture" Thomas moaned, shoving his face into the crook of my neck.

Laughing, I hop out of bed, and walk over to my suitcase, Thomas' eyes obviously following my bare body.

"You know you could always just hang around like that today" Thomas suggests, hopping from under the duvet and walking to where I was, his arms wrapping around me from behind, and to my surprise a pair of sweatpants adorning his legs.

"It does feel pretty good to walk about naked, but no, I want to go to the Blackpool tower today" I smile.

"Let me choose something for you" Thomas suggests. Laughing, I sit back, and let Thomas rummage through my small luggage case.

"Here" Thomas says as he hands me his chosen underwear. A simple red lace bra and matching knickers. "they're my favourite" he winks.

Giggling, I watch intently as he pulls out a white woolen sweater, and a pair of light blue jeans.

"I like it when you wear stuff like this" He whispers, placing a small kiss on my forehead.

As I start to clip on the bra, Thomas walks to the bathroom, before yelling behind his shoulder "and no makeup!"

~~~
The soft feeling of the wind through my long brown hair, paired with the comforting a embrace of Thomas' hand in mine was blissful.
Catering to Thomas' request, I strayed from makeup, and simply left everything natural. His thought process was never easy to decipher, and it still baffled me how he loved my bare face, despite my hatred towards it.
The creaking of the old pier beneath our feet was like music to my ears, the smell of frying doughnuts and fish and chips lingering in the air.
"I guess you really love the pier" Thomas laughs.
"I love it!" I giggle, running towards the grabbing machine, Thomas' long arm being dragged along by my pure excitement.
"Why is this so necessary?" Thomas chuckles.
"What so necessary?" I say absentmindedly, my tongue caught between my teeth in concentration as I try to grasp the Olaf teddy.
"This excitement" Thomas laughs, shaking my arm. His abrupt shaking on my arm caused my hand to slip, and miss my chance.
"Thomaassss..." I groan, pushing my nose against the cold glass. Realising he asked me a question, I start to realise my answer to the question.
Thomas POV
Emily's smile decimates after she turns to me. Her hand withdraws from mine and she picks at her old nail varnish.
"I just... like the pier I guess" she says, trying to act nonchalant.
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want" I say softly, lifting a stray piece of her hair and tucking it behind her ear.
Her bright hazel eyes look up into mine, a slightly glassy over layer on them, before a knowing smile appears on her pink lips.
"I love you" She smiled, before pressing a kiss to my nose.
"I love you too" I laugh, pressing a kiss on her forehead.
We continue on down the pier, stopping every so often so Emily can gawk at the colourful machines. Although the persistent stopping and starting could be, somewhat frustrating, the happy and excited look on Emily's face was mesmerising. She truly looked like a happy five year old.
As we reached the end of the pier walk, both of our hair was heavily wind swept, and sticking out in different directions, the salty air making the strands an uncomfortable texture.
Emily however, looked adorable. Her button nose was tinted pink, and the colour spread over her freckly cheeks.
"You ready to go home yet?" I ask her, my teeth chattering in the cold breeze.
Her nod was quick, before her cold fingers lace with mine and we begin the walk back to the hotel room.
~~
Once we enter, the warm air hits us right in the face, and sighs of relief escape both of our lips.
"I'm so hungry... What's the time?" Emily asks. I then remember neither of us have eaten anything today, and look at my watch.
"Like 1, do you wanna order room service?" Emily's smiles widens over her cheeks, before she picks up the phone, and starts dialling the room service number.
~~~

Yeah I finished eventually, I didn't really have a plan to follow here, I got a bit bored tbh.

I hope you guys liked it... I'm a bit upset by it just because of the lack of excitement

Have a good day my lovelies :)
