Disclaimer: these are purely hypothetical scenes of Natalie Manning and Crockett Marcel, from Chicago Med. Feel free to check out my Instagram (username: mancel_scenes), on which I also post hypothetical scenes :))

Crockett's POV:

It's a relatively busy day in the ED, and I've barely talked to Nat all day. Luckily, I catch her coming from a treatment room: "Hey" I say as I give her a quick kiss (because only Maggie knows about us). She slightly startles, but then chuckles and looks around "We're at work" she says smiling. "I know," I say, with a smile, "just haven't seen you all day, kinda started missing you". She sighs, as she gets paged "talk to you later?" she asks. "Yeah sure" I answer, and as she is about to leave, I grab her by her arm "how about I make you a nice dinner tonight? We'll have a nice night, spend time together?" I ask. She gets a slight smile on her face, and nods, "you alright?" I ask. "Yeah, just a bit tired" she says, as she walks towards the elevator. April looks around the ED, and goes "Dr. Choi, Dr. Marcel, we have an automobile versus pedestrian coming in", as I rush over to the ambulance entrance.

Natalie's POV:

I've been going in and out of treatment rooms, when Crockett suddenly kisses me. I startle, and although I'm really happy to see him, nobody actually knows about us, so I say "we're at work" as I smile. I haven't told him about my speculation yet, but we've barely talked today. As Crockett tells me he's going to make me dinner, I get a page from Maggie saying: [I got it, meet me upstairs], so I just smile, nod, and then go to meet Maggie.

As soon as I leave the elevator, Maggie walks up to me "alright, let's go the bathroom. And you're sure you're late? It wasn't a miscalculation?" She asks. I sigh, and nod with a slightly panicked expression, "It'll be alright" Maggie says, and hands it to me.
After a while, I get out of the bathroom, and Maggie sets a timer. We look at each other, then just mind our business for a while, until Maggie's phone rings. She looks at me and goes "time's up... what does it say?".
