"So you'll go out with me than?!" Calum asked after he finally got it through his mind that Jess likes him.
"No" Jess said back.
"What about me?" Luke asked shyly.
"Come on, I have to think this through. I don't know what I would do if it ruined our friendship!" Jess said to them.
Luke and Calum looked at each. "We get it, we'll give you time to think" Calum said to her.
"Thanks" Jess smiled.
"We'd do anything for you, you know that" Luke smiled and grabbed Jess's hand.
"I know, that's why I love you guys" Jess smiled back. "Now it's getting late and we should start heading home"
It was getting dark. Jess, Luke, and Calum headed back to Luke's car and drove home.
"Bye Calum!" Jess yelled as he got out of the car. He waved back and walked inside this house.
When Luke and Jess got home. Luke parked into his driveway. Jess got out and waved goodbye to Luke and walked across his lawn to her house. When she got inside she saw Ashton sitting on the couch watching TV. She walked up to him.
"Hey, how was your date?" Jess said nudging him and smiling.
He smiled "Great, we had a great time"
"What did you guys do?" Jess asked her smile got even bigger.
"I took her to the beach and we watched the sunset" Ashton said looking down smiling.
"You mean the beach we used to go to as kids. The one with the most beautifulest sunset ever!" Jess said excitedly.
"Yes, that one" Ashton answered back.
"I knew it, too cute!" Jess yelled happily.
"Yeah, that place is always prefect" Ashton said back.
"Great, I'm glad you had a great time. I'm going to go upstairs. I'm getting tried." Jess said getting up from the couch.
"Wait! What did you, Luke, and Calum do today?" Ashton asked grabbing Jess's arm and pulling her back onto the couch.
Jess looked down at her fingers. "We went to that ice cream place we love" Jess said looking away from Ashton.
"Jess what happen?!" Ashton yelled.
"What do you mean what happen?!" Jess yelled back.
"Jess, you only go there when something is wrong, so what happen" Ashton said.
"Nothing, I just wanted to talk at them" Jess said back.
"What'd you talk about?" Ashton asked.
"Nothing" Jess said back.
"You talked about nothing?" Ashton said confused "Jess come on just tell me"
"No, it's none of your business!" she said storming out of the room. Ashton could hear Jess running up the stairs "If you're so curious, why don't you just ask your friends!" Then a door slammed.
Ashton looked at the clock. It was late there was no way he would get an answer until the morning so he would have to wait.
Next Morning....
Ashton woke up and when down stair. He walked into the living room to see an empty room. Jess is normally up by this time Ashton thought. Ashton ran back upstairs. Her bedroom door was closed. He slowly open it, Jess wasn't in bed. "Where the heck is she?"
