Chapter 3: Heartbreak Boys

"What?!" Everyone yelled back.

"You just met her 5 seconds ago!" Jess yelled at Ashton.

"Yeah!" Calum said putting his arm around Jess.

"Okay, off" Jess said throwing Calum's arm off of her and walking over to Michael and Kelly.

Calum looked up to see Luke looking at him, then back at Jess who was looking at Ashton.

"Dude, what the heck or should I say why do we all need to be here?" Michael finally said.

All of sudden the door from the garage open. Ashton and Jess parents were home. Ashton and Jess knew if their parents found out that their friends were all in Jess's room they be in big trouble.

"You three out, go to Ashton's room and wait there. Ashton come with me." Jess said pushing Michael, Calum, and Luke out of her room and grabbing Ashton hand pulling him down stairs.

"Hey mom!" Jess said when she got to the kitchen with Ashton.

"Hey, Guys" Jess & Ashton's mom said back "I thought you had friends over?"

"We do they're just waiting for us." Ashton said smiling.

"Us?" Jess & Ashton's mom questioned.

"What he means is that we are all hanging out together" Jess answered.

"Oh, that's sweet" Their mom smiled.

"Yeah, so like we said they're waiting for us so we are going to be upstairs and hanging out" Jess said smiling while being pulled upstairs by Ashton.

Ashton pulled Jess into the bathroom upstairs.

"Today,.....today is just crazy!" Jess started screaming.

"Would you be quiet!" Ashton whispered covering Jess's mouth.

"Sorry" Jess's said sitting on the edge of the bathtub "Why do you want to ask Laura out, seriously you just meet her."

Ashton started pacing "No, I didn't just met her".

"Are you sure, cause you said "Who are you" to her when you opened the door?" Jess questioned.

"She's in my Math class. I sit behind her" Ashton started saying "I never knew you two were friends, Now it just weird to ask her out cause I don't want to ruin your friendship!"

Jess started to think when Ashton told her, he didn't want to ruin her friendship. She said the same thing to Calum earlier today.

Ashton continued "Would you be ok if I dated her?"

Jess thought.

"Would you be ok if I went out with Calum or Luke?" Jess asked looking down at her feet.

"Luke? I didn't know you liked Luke?" Ashton questioned.

"Since the day we met him" Jess smiled back still looking down.

Back Story: Jess and Luke met back in 2nd grade. When Luke's family moved next door. Jess first saw Luke when he was introduced in front of her class. Ashton didn't met him until recess. Jess always liked Luke 'cause from day one he could trust her with anything.

*Back to 2nd grade*

"Everyone we have a new student, this is Luke. He's from Australia, you can sit next to.....Jess" The teacher said pointing in Jess's direction.

Jess raised her hand. Luke walked over and sat next to her. "Hi" Jess said in a soft voice. Luke didn't say a word. Later that day at lunch. Jess was sitting alone as always. In elementary school you had to sit with your class, the only friends Jess had were Kelly but she went to a different school (She didn't meet Ashton, Calum, Michael, and Luke until Middle School) and her brother and his friends but they were always separated in different classes.
