Chapter 15: Three Years Later

"Mommy!" John yelled running his little feet down the stairs into the kitchen, where Kelly, Jess, and Laura were.

"What?" Laura asked her son.

"Daddy won't play with me" He cried.

"It's ok sweetie" Laura said pick up her 3 year old son. She looked at Jess.

"Fine" Jess said getting up, she walked over to John "Hey, you want to see me yell at my brother?"

"Yes!" John said excitedly grabbing out for Jess. She carried him upstairs to Ashton and Laura's room and just walked in.

"Ash!" Jess yelled.

"What?!" He yelled back.

"What is so important that you can't play with your son?"

"I'm busy, leave me alone"

"You're an idiot, you can't take 10 minutes your time to play with him"

"No, I can't. Now get out!" Ashton yelled.

"Daddy being mean to aunt Jessi" John cried in Jess's shoulder. Ashton face soften once he saw his son crying. Ashton has been on edge lately and always yelling.

"Ashton, we need to talk. I don't care what you're doing right now, but this has to be done" Jess said leaving his room. Jess brought John into his room (aka Calum old room, he moved into Luke's. Ashton stilled refused let him and Jess share). Ashton followed Jess downstairs to the kitchen, Kelly yelled at the other boys to come up from the basement. Everyone was now in the kitchen.

"Ok, what do you want to talk about?" Ashton asked annoyed sitting down at the table.

"That! You're always angry. Ever since John started talking, what's up man!" Michael said.

"School, Classes. We only had enough money for one of us to go to college. You'd all said I should cause I had a kid coming. I'm stressing, Johnny almost about to start school soon. I want to spend time with him, but I have finals and UHG!" Ashton stressed putting his head on the table.

"Why didn't you just tell us, we would have understood?" Jess asked.

"I don't know. I'm almost 21, everything is moving to fast for me"

"I can't wait until that!" Michael said putting his arm around Ashton "You, Me, and those Guys. roaming the town and go.."

"Michael, you're still going to be 20 and so is Luke. Calum and Ashton are the only ones going to have fun on your little adventure" Jess said.

"Fine" Michael murmured.

"Plus, it's Jess's birthday too. I'm not spend my birthday without her" Ashton said.

"Daddy?" Everyone turned around. "Are you still mad at me?"

Ashton got up. "Oh, no. I can never be mad at you. I've just been angry lately and it has nothing to with you" Ashton told him.

(A/N: If you're were wondering Ashton and Laura aren't married, Calum, Jess, Kelly, and Michael are still together, and Luke is still single and still waiting)

John hugged his dad, told him he loved him, and then ran upstairs.

"At least you know he loves you" Michael said.

They were all sitting around the kitchen when the doorbell rang. "I'll get it" Kelly said walking out of the kitchen. A few seconds later Kelly yelled "Guys, Who's the dude?!"
