Fog started to roll into the room and a dark covered figure walked in. Everyone just stayed still and watched the figure. He lifted up his hand towards Jess, the heart monitor start speeding up, indicating her heart was racing. All of sudden Jess started coughing and holding her neck, he was choking her. Jess was rounding around in the bed trying to breath. They all tried to help her, but they were push up against the wall, and looked at Jess. The heart monitor when flat, he stopped. Jess laid there still. Ashton was taking off the wall first.
"She dead, you f#cking killed her" he yelled. He ran toward the figure and tackled him to the ground. They rolled around and the figure was on top of Ashton. Ashton closed his eyes waiting for what was going to happen. He felt the figure push off of him, he opened his eyes and saw Jess standing there "Jess?"
She coughs "I'm lucky that thing attached to my heart fell off"
"Jess!" Ashton got off the ground and hugged her.
"Come on we need to leave, I don't know what was in that needle but I don't think he's dead. Grab the other and get them in Michael's car"
Ashton throw Luke and Calum over his shoulders and grabbed Michael. Jess tried shaking Laura, her eyes opened "Jess you're alive"
"I know help me with Kelly, we need to get out of here" Laura and Jess picked up Kelly and they all walked to Michael's car, while Jess hoped, due to her leg.
"Find his keys" Laura said.
"I not putting my hand in his pocket" Jess said.
"Fine" Ashton grabbed Michael keys out of his pocket the open the door. Michael was in first, then Kelly, then in the back Calum got pushed in first Jess grabbed Luke and put him next to her while trying to keep Calum to sit up. Ashton and Laura go the front and Ashton started to drive.
"Jess, how are you not dead. We saw you?" Laura asked.
"The heart thingy detached so it seem like I died. So he stopped, thanks goodness"
"I'm glad you're ok"
"Thanks" Jess looked down at Luke and Calum heads on her lap. "When we stop I need to change clothes" she check her phone, 11:30a.m it read.
"Once we are out of town we will be safe right?" Ashton asked.
"Yeah, they can't get us. To make sure we should just leave the state"
"Where would we go?" Ashton asked.
"I don't know south where it warm. Anything around New Jersey it's safe anymore"
"Florida?"
"Make a new life, never go home?" Laura said.
"We can't right now, not while that thing after us" Jess said. "It's only after us, it's not going to hurt anyone else"
Someone in front of Jess started moving and they sat up. "Where am I?" Michael said.
"Michael?!" Jess said. He turned around.
"Oh My God, Jess. What? How? Why?"
"I'm alive yes, he thought I was dead, I wasn't. We're leaving it's not safe right now"
"Oh My God, I'm so glad you're alive. Watching you die was the worst thing to ever happen"
"It's ok Mikey, try and get Kelly up. I'll have to get these two up too"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Later, please I've been through so much. I want to rest, I'll answer any question you guys have when we stop, ok"
