"She's literally forcing me to finish an essay in TWO FUCKING DAYS!" blaise complained, shaking his head while putting some mash potatoes non stop into his plate "i mean seriously can you b-"
" ow what was that for?" blaise started rubbing his right arm after Draco shoving him hard " stop putting more into your plate you idiot" draco pointed at blaise's plate " oh"
A laugh escaped my mouth looking at blaise's reaction " hey bell" i gasped— two strong arms was placed in both of my sides while i was in the middle of them
I turned my face and hit theo slightly at his head " stop scaring me! you will give me a heart attack one day" he chuckled then he made his way to the empty spot next to me
i looked at him smiling then i turned my face to the others— everyone was making themselves comfortable in their seats,eating their meal— some of them chatting with their friends next to them.
I felt a pair of eyes burning through the side of my head, i turned my head slowly and my eyes locked with astoria's— once she caught me looking back at her she rolled her eyes at me then looking back to draco whispering something into his ears. i kept my eyes fixed on them for a moment,drifting a little until pansy's voice brought me back to reality.
" guys!y'all won't believe what i'm about to say right now!" she said excitedly almost screaming,putting her palm on the table eying all of us— a big smile on her face showing her pearly teath.
" what the fuck do you want?" pansy rolled her eyes on astoria " fuck you" and then she Brought her attention back to us.
" i just heard that Hogwarts will be having another ball this year" she said clapping her two hands together
" Another one!!" blaise groan " yes and why're so upset?" she raised an eyebrow to him
" well first of all" she folded her arms rising an eyebrow waiting for him to say his excuses "we have to find a date and second of all we have to find something fancy to wear" she let out a tiered sigh definitely bored
"Anyways" she sit beside me " are you excited bella?" smiling
" um— yeah" i lied
" oh my god i can't wait to go dress shopping together next weekend!" she said holding my arm with her two hands " but pansy don't you think it's too early for that?" i said softly
" oh no we have to go early or all the fancy dresses will be solid!" i nodded at her
" Draco let's go we have practice" then blaise,draco and all the boys get up from their seats gathering their bags " and you! what are you waiting for? let's go" blaise throw a slytherin hoodie he was holding at theo

" we're gathering today in this lovely evening to announce that we are having another ball this year" professor McGonagall explained walking past and forth in the Great hall eyeing the students "on Christmas eve,one month from today— we will gather here in the Great hall" she added
" didn't we learned this lecture last year?" blaise whispered to us titling his head towards us while resting his elbows on his knees "ahem" professor McGonagall was looking at our direction holding both of her hands on the middle of her chest.
" i expect each of you to wear a fancy clothing— now every girl and boy will choose their partner to practice" and the hall started to fill with huffs and groans mostly from boys.
I saw everyone is choosing their partners— i shifted my head to the left to talk to pansy but she's no where to be seen then i saw her standing next to blaise probably partnered with each other brilliant now what am i supposed to do? and draco was obviously with astoria too
I felt i light tap on my shoulder, i turned my head to see theo, he took out his right hand to me " dance with me" he smiled at me lifting his eyebrows " i'd love too"
He placed his both hands on my waist and i put my hands on his shoulders " have you danced before?" he asked " never" i chuckled nervously — i was nervous. i've never danced before in my life because of the fact that i didn't ever go to the yull ball last year.
" and 1,2,3,1,2..." we started dancing theo's hand squeezed around my waist smiling at me— our feet's moving in sync— our heart fluttering with happiness— eyes fixated on one another
While we were dancing and the music playing on the back, i lost my balance a little " careful!" theo tightened his grip— our laugher filling the hall.
" now switch partners" i freezed in my place widening my eyes then closing them pretty quickly oh no— then i felt theo's warm hands leaving my waist replacing with a cold ones— i can feel the coldness through the fabric of my shirt, my Green eyes fluttered open to meet a Grey ones— my heart started bumping in my Rib cage.
" that's you" i said nervously " that's me"
We kept dancing in sync— eyes never leave the other — heart never stop racing— the smell of his Cologne filling my nostrils— i lifted my hands off from his shoulders and placed them around his neck instead. i knew i was making a huge mistake by my action but that wasn't mattered to me. not now at least — i felt in that moment that we're the only two people in this huge universe just me and him
I broke our eye contact looking down at my feet— tucking a loose curl behind my ears then looking back at him again— we didn't talked the whole time because our eyes was saying everything we wanted to say and more— " Alright our practice has finished good job students,you all did great" i lifted my hands from his neck as soon as professor Mcgonagall spoke and draco doing the same as me.
And then he left— leaving me alone and people making their way to the entrance— a heavy hand placed on my shoulder and i flinched " if you ever and i mean ever get that close to draco again you will face consequences" astoria whispered in my ear then she gave me a sarcastic smile and patted on my shoulder and with that she left leaving me alone in this empty huge hall still trying to gather my thoughts and process the past events.
