I step back from Natsu, pulling my arms from around his sides.
I inhale deeply.
Now what?
"Lucy?"
My eyes rise up to Natsu's.
"Yeah?"
"Now that you've decided not to go across the world, what do you want to do?"
What do I want to do?
I want to go to Fairy Tail.
At least...
That's what I feel like I'm supposed to say, but I can't.
Something in me keeps me from opening my mouth to say those words.
A block in my head.
Just because I decided not to completely disappear doesn't mean I'm not done running.
Right now...right now this is good. This is what I want.
With Natsu everything starts to feel right again.
I don't want it to end.
If I were to go back to Fairy Tail I just know that the block in my head would fall and nothing would be right ever again.
But I know that I can only keep this going for so long...Natsu isn't supposed to be here with me.
He didn't come here to join me in my quest to wander around randomly.
The reason he came here was to take me back to Fairy Tail.
But I can't do that.
I also can't let Natsu go.
I smile up at him with my lips pressed into a thin line.
"For now let's go get some food. After that we can see what else we want to do."
He nods his head.
"Okay, Lucy. Whatever you want to do."
I nod and look away.
The clock is already ticking and I fear that it doesn't have a long lifepsan.
This peace that I've found has a time limit.
Instead of worrying about the future, though, I'm going to enjoy this time as much as I can.
