Ch.5: School

It's the next day and Jen is coming home with us! I'm so excited yet scared because its the first night we have all been there in weeks! I know for a fact my room is a mess and I really don't want Jen mad at me... Josh did a good job at making sure the rest of the house was tidy.

We arrive at the house and Jen steps out of the car. She's a little weak, but she's happy to be home and you can tell by the smile plastered on her face. I run to the door and wait for Josh and Jen to catch up. They walk hand in hand slowly to the steps. Josh helps Jen up the stairs and he jumps in front of me to unlock the door.

Once we walk inside Jen breathes in the smell of the sweet lavender wall plug-ins. She flops on top of the beige couch and sighs. "It's so great to finally be home." she says. "Jade honey? Can you go in your room? I have to tell Josh something." I nod and head up to my room.

When I reach the top of the stairs and turn left, I head into my room. I sit on my bed and grab my laptop. When I open up google, Jen pops up. "Mystery Girl the daughter of Jen and James Franco?" it says. I decide to read it. It says that II'm their daughter and how James confirmed everything. I don't know why but this makes me flustered. He has no right to tell the public! I'm sure Jen would've when she was ready! What if her parents see this? what if they hate me?! My thoughts are interrupted by a knock on the door. "Come in." I say closing my laptop and putting it to the side of me.

"Hey..." Jen says sitting across from me on my bed. "I notice you don't really have much of a social life, so Josh and I think it'd be a great idea to send you to school!" she says. "You are ahead if your class, so you get to go to 6th grade! you get to skip a whole year!" she beams with pride. "Sounds Great mom! she nods and heads downstairs. I finally know what to text Mason. "I'M GOING TO SCHOOL!!!"
