Today we are going to Jen's doctor's appointment. We head out and get ready for the days activities. I put on a blue sundress and cardigan and Jen puts on grey sweat pants and a beanie with a regular black t shirt. Josh is very apologetic after what happened and he and Jen have been kinda plutonic the past couple of days.
On the ride to the doctor's the car ride is silent except for a few attempts Josh tries to get Jen's attention but it's quickly cut off by her saying either not now or I'm trying to drive. I get tired of the tension and put in my head phones and drift away. I get a text from Mason. "Who was that boy?" he asks. "He was a friend." I state. "Friends don't kiss friends..." he replies. "Are you jealous? You have no right to be! You had a girlfriend!" I say. "Yeah. I did. but I don't anymore and I really like you." he says making my cheeks flush. "Will you go out with me?" he asks. I did not expect this. It feels like my heart literally stopped. I think for a minute then finally reply, "I'm sorry, I can't. I do like you don't get me wrong. I always have, but Grey. I like him too. You are too busy caring about yourself to see any of my problems the way grey does. Maybe we are just supposed to be friends." I finally get the guts to type. "Fine. Stay with your lover boy. Just know I will always like you more than a friend." he types. "Don't say that! You don't know Grey! He's sweet and sensitive! You will find someone I swear. I'm just too young." I type before we stop at Krispy Kreme.
We order a dozen glazed doughnuts. Once we are done, we go straight to the doctor's. Once we are in there we head to the elevators. Once inside, All I see is pregnant women. Some with huge bellies and some with barely showing bellies. Jen's is bigger, but still not big. Anyone could tell she's pregnant and didn't just eat.
We head into the waiting room and Jen signs herself in. "Ms. Lawrence, the doctor can see you now." We go in and Dr. Tewmy puts the gel on Jen's stomach. The screen appears after a few seconds. "Ms. Lawrence, Mr. Hutcherson, I'm proud to say, You are expecting a girl." the dr. says. I have tears in my eyes an turn to see Jen and Josh in a full out make out session. "Ew! Kid in the room! I'm going to throw up!" I yell. They pull away and just smile and laugh. That's certainly not what they were doing before.
On the way home, I started to text Grey because I figured Mason was pissed off. I text Grey over and over without reply. I finally say I'm at the hospital and that gets a reply. "What?!" he says. "I'm joking. Why aren't you answering?" I text. "I can't. I got a message saying that if I talk to you, You'll get hurt and I wouldn't be able to stand seeing you hurt." he replies. "I know who it is and they can't hurt me. I prefer physical pain over the pain of never talking to you." he says okay and we continue texting about mockingjay and school. He says Gale is his god father and he will be staying with him for a while even when we go back home because his dad is in rehab. I'm excited because he will be at school and on set.
When I get home, I go on a search for Alex. I leave the suite and look through all of the 37 floors. I go to the lobby and ask if they've seen it. Surprisingly they say yes and that a boy around my age came and asked for it yesterday. They wouldn't give me anymore details but I don't need anymore. I know it was Mason and I'm Determined to find out why he would steal my cat. He has officially lost it.
When I get back to the suite, Jen's sitting running her stomach while watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians. "Oh Jade, Have you picked out a name?" She asks. "Mhm. You know how I love The Hunger Games," she nods, "Well, I decided I like the name Willow Shrader Hutcherson." I finish. "I love it." Jen beams with happiness. "So how are you and dad?" I say meekly. "Ugh. I don't know. I mean this isn't just now happening. He gets drunk all the time. I don't know what's in store for us, but I know that I do love him and we can work it out.'' She says as I nod. "C'mere." She says patting the seat next to her. I walk over and Jen places her arm around me and I lay my head on her chest. Eventually in the middle of the episode Jen's head sloops down onto mine and not long after, sleep consumes me too.
A/N two short chapters back after back I feel equates to one long chapter. but idkkk. I'm so appreciative of each and every one of you. to me this is just a stupid book you read when the good ones need to be updated. I told a joke in my AP HUG class and no one laughed :/ we had to make a Utopia and I had River Joshifer and I said, "This is river Joshifer because we go down with this ship!" and I literally laughed for 5 mins straight and no one else did... I have rehearsal tomorrow for the Wizard of Oz. ._. Anywayyyyyyy If you read all of this you have a much longer attention span than me because I'm literally like a chihuahua. I'm all over the place *laughing/crying emoji*
