Ch.22: Pre-Wedding

•••Jens PoV•••

Jade and I just arrived at my parents house in Louisville. Josh flew to hi parents house yesterday in Union. We decided to have the wedding in Kentucky because we both have family that can't really travel.

Jade and Mom are baking and Dad and My brothers are barbecuing. Today we are having a little family barbecue.

I'm upstairs in my room lying down on the bed. I laugh mentally at all my Justin Timberlake posters. I admittedly had the hugest crush on him.

I turn my head to the other side and hit something hard. I lift up and feel under the pillow. I pick up my old diary and unlock it. It has many memories. Good and bad. I flip through and land on a maternity picture of me when I was pregnant with Jade. I looked so happy! It's hard to think that life was torn away from me and into the hands of an evil bastard.

I flip some more and reread my favorite entry's some are about Josh and some about Justin and some about James.

I had the biggest crush on Josh when we were little and still do. I watched every movie he was in. He inspired me to do what I do and I am so happy that I can finally marry him.

I smell the blue berry muffins and warm chocolate chip cookies Jade and Mom are cooking. Without realizing it, I drift off into a peaceful sleep with my diary beside me on my queen sized bed.

•••Jade's PoV•••

I walk in moms old room to let her know that the muffins are done for breakfast. I open the door and notice she's fast asleep with a book lying beside her.

I lie down and pick up the book and start to read. Looking through it, I see pictures of mom pregnant with me. She looked so young and happy compared to some of her school entries I read.

I flip through some more and find an entry on Josh. She explains about her passion and love for him and about how caring and not to mention how hot he was.

I laugh and tear out the page. I'm saving this for my wedding speech. I'm about to get up and go back downstairs when Jen's hand wraps around mine. I try to let go an she frowns and wrinkles her nose, so I hold on and soon drift of to the rhythmic sound of her breathing.
