•••Jade's PoV•••
I lie in my hotel room bed. It's firm, but it's comfortable. I haven't talk to Jen as much as I would want, but Josh said that he has everything under control and it will be better soon. I honestly do not know what's going on, but I want to know. Oh well, I think they'll tell me soon.
I get a text from Mason saying he's in the hospital. I start to freak out. I want to cry, but I'm in too much of a panic. I run into Jen and Josh's room. "Mom! Mom! WE NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL! PLEASE MOM." I scream. "Jade, honey, what's wrong?" She asks the most attentive I've seen her in a while. "Mason's in the hospital..." I cry into Jen. "shhh, it'll be okay. let's go!" she says. We get up and rush out of the hotel.
In the car, Jen calls Natalie. All I can hear is Natalie in a panic and Jen's okays. "Mom, what's wrong?! What's going on?" I ask with tears in my eyes. "I don't know honey, I just know its very serious.'' she tells me.
We arrive and Jen and I run into the E.R. When we walked in, we saw Natalie pacing back and forth. "Can I see him?" I ask. "In a moment." she says.
I go sit in a chair and text him I'm here. He says good and that he wishes I could be in there with him. I smile as another tear rolls down my face. A doctor walks over to Natalie. She cries into Jen and then nods. Natalie points to me. The doctor walks over to me and says that Mason requests me to come see him.
I walk into the room that's on this floor. I walk in to see him lying there smiling. This whole situation feels all too familiar except he isn't in a coma.
"Come here." he says. I pull up a chair and grab his hand. Electricity flows through me. "Whats. wrong?" I say pushing his hair out of his face. "I umm have Cancer..." I gasp as I feel tears burn my cheeks. "Shhh, Jade. It's okay. They are still running tests to find out what stage I'm in. It's a big probability I will live." I not and wipe my eyes. "Jade if I don't make it..." He leans in. I start to lean in too. I feel my breath getting hitched. I feel my warmth coming close to his cool face then....
