Ch.17: Month 3

•••Jade's PoV•••
It's been three months for Jen's pregnancy. We don't know the gender yet, but we will pretty soon when she has her doctors appointment. I don't know if you can be moody during this month of pregnancy, but I am definitely noticing slight changes in Jen. She wakes up early, sings out loud, brushes her hair, laughs more, which are all great things now but I have no idea what the next part of pregnancy has in store.

Today we are going dress shopping. I get to be the flower girl! I'm so excited. Today is also the day that Jen's mom finds out about me and the new baby. Jen's showing, but barely.

Josh is already gone with his brother Conner and his dad along with Jen's brothers, Ben and Blaine. They don't know about me or the little baby, but we all are going to a fancy place to eat after all the shopping.

"C'mon sweetie. Are you excited?" Mom asks. "Yeah, but I'm a little nervous..." I say getting into the car. "Oh honey." Jen says pulling out of the parking lot.

I turn on the radio to hear a song called Partition by Beyoncé. I immediately sing along because Beyoncé is the queen of the world and I'm pretty sure it's illegal if you don't sing along. Jen starts to sing along to and then notices the words. "Jade, Never sing this around Josh!" she laughs. I just sing and nod along.

We pull into the dress store. It's kinda off the map, so there are no paparazzi. I get really nervous and start shaking. "Stand behind me so I can introduce you!" Jen says smiling.

We walk in, but nobody notices me since I'm behind Jen. Her mom comes to hug her but Jen just speaks up. "Mom, I have some things to tell you." Jen says. "You can tell me anything sweetie." her mom says with concern in her face. Jen steps out of the way and I'm face to face with my grandma. Her facial expression scares me. I just stand there unmoving until Karen grabs me into a huge hug.

"Your name is Jade isn't it?" she says smiling. I nod and she grabs my hand. "Jen, she's beautiful!" she says. "I know." Jen says. I look at Jen trying to signal her that she missed something. "Oh, and Mom, I'm pregnant." she says. That's when chaos hits the bridal dress store. Jen, her mom, and her best friends, Jessica and Laura, all celebrate along with me.

A/N sorry for not updating and then making this short chapter! I've been so busy and I wrote this on the bus this morning, but anyway, I also have rehearsal today so :/ My show dates are March 25, 26, and 27 and it is so not ready, but at least it keeps us on our toes! Next chapter is a continuation of this one! Dress is gonna be the picture on the next one!
