Ch.30: Together

It seems like just yesterday when Willow was born. She's so cute. She has Jen's eyes and Josh's hair. Jen and Josh are so in love with this little baby it's crazy. Jen started crying this morning when her and Josh had to go to a meeting.

I hear the doorbell ring and I pick up Willow and but her in her halter that I'm wearing. I answer the door to see Grey standing there scratching the back of his head. "Can I come in?" he asks. I nod and give way.

"Hey, I haven't seen you in a while and I thought I would come check on you." he says. "Okay." I said. We sit on the couch and watch some Tv. "Hey I have to clean so if you don't mind I'm going to do that." I say getting up. "I'll help you." I nod and point to the broom,"Can you sweep up for me?" I ask. He replies by getting the broom and starts sweeping.

Willow starts to cry so I hold and rock her without actually picking her up. "there there willow." I say getting a snicker from Grey. "What?" I snap. "You're so great with kids. You just amaze me Every time I talk to you." He says and I'm pretty sure my heart skipped a beat..well...multiple beats. I feel my cheeks redden and begin to wipe of the counter tops.

"Look Jade, You are so amazing in each and everyway and I can't leave today knowing that you're out there for every guy to look at. That's not fair! You are the ONLY girl I look at. Youre perfect and deserve to be treated like a princess not a peasant like how Mason treats you. I understand you deserve more than me, but I at least think you should give me a chance," he sighs, "Jade Rosalin Lawrence, will you go out with me?" he says. All of a sudden I hear a car door shut and only then I realize the horror of having a boy over without your parents knowing.
