WARNING. This chapter does get a bit mature at the end. I don't describe anything sexual too far, I just lead it up to that moment. So if you think it may be too mature for you just don't read the end part! Thanks my lovelies! Also not sure if you noticed but this is chapter 10 and 6+4=10! And today is all about Four and Six hehe😂 enjoy!
Tris POV
Christina finishes putting my makeup on as my mom puts the last pin in my hair.
"You look beautiful Beatrice." My mom says kissing my forehead. Today is the day Four and I get married. Most of Dauntless are invited, along with my family. Even if we didn't invite most of Dauntless they would come anyway as things like weddings are a pretty big deal here.
"Here you go!" Marlene says handing me my dress. I take it into the dressing room to put it on. Underneath it I have a white lingerie that suits my body perfectly and makes me feel confident. I look at myself in the mirror. For once, I see past all my flaws like my thin body and flat chest. I just see Tris now, the strong, brave, selfless, divergent, woman who is marrying the love of her life today. I step out of the dressing room and my bridesmaids and mother gasp.
"You look gorgeous!" They all say chiming in with their own individual compliments. Shauna then helps me put on my vail.
"Who wants champagne?" Lynn asks.
"Me!" We all say. We then toast to my last moments of being single and to a happy marriage with Tobias.
Tobias POV
I fix my tie and straighten my jacket, my groomsmen doing the same around me. My father will not be at the wedding today. I haven't talked to him for a long time. Maybe one day we will be able to have a civil relationship again but now is not that time. My mother, though, is here. She reached out to me a few years ago and we have continued to rebuild our relationship with each other.
"You ready man?" Zeke my best friend, and man of honor, asks.
"Ready as I'll ever be." I exhale. I am ready to marry Tris Prior and seal our relationship with each other... forever.
Tris POV
We all walk out of the dressing room and I see my dad. I run up and hug him.
"You look beautiful sweetie." He says. "There is no one I would rather be giving my daughter away to today than Tobias."
My close friends and family know who Four is now. We told them a couple months ago that he came from Abnegation and that his father is Marcus and Evelyn Eaton. We also explained the them that his mother is still alive. Only my parents and I call Four Tobias though.
"You have no idea how much that means to me dad." I say, my eyes tearing up. Christina hands me my bouquet and we get in order of how we will walk out. We are getting married in an old church not too far from Dauntless head quarters, it is big but not intimidating, just the right size.
The music starts and one by one my bridesmaids walk out with the groomsmen, until my dad and I are the only ones left behind the doors. The doors open and that's when I see him...Tobias, staring in awe at me...focusing on nothing else but me.
Tobias POV
The music starts and the bridesmaids and groomsmen start walking out in pairs, one by one. Zeke flashes a smile at me as he walks down. Nervousness flutters around in my stomach and I anxiously await for my bride to walk through those doors.
Once all the bridesmaids and groomsmen have walked down the aisle and taken their place, the music shifts. And that's when I see her, Tris, absolutely stunning in her wedding dress, her arm linked with her fathers. I can stare at nothing but her now. It's as if the room around me goes dark except for where she is, and all I can think about and see is her.
