Chapter 27: Welcome to the World

Tris POV

I use all my energy to give one last push. I grit my teeth as I do it and exhale deeply. I then hear the best sound in the world: my baby...crying.

"Congratulations!" The doctor says, "It's a girl. You have a daughter Mr. and Mrs. Eaton." I beam as they place my healthy baby girl on my chest. Four kisses my cheek and strokes my hand gently. He's also beaming in happiness at our new baby girl.

"Welcome to the world." I whisper

*Two hours later*

"Soooooo," Christina says walking in. She is holding Aiden's hand and is holding her 1 year old daughter, Brielle, with her other arm. "What's the gender??"

"It's a girl!" Four and I say together

"Yay!!!!" She squeals, "she's soooo cute! She looks like you Tris!" Christina's right. Aiden is a striking image of his father with his dark hair and deep blue eyes. And my daughter has the same eyes and nose as me, even the same blonde hair.

"So what's her name?" Will, who walked in behind Christina asks.

"Well," I start, "After much thought and consideration we decided on..." I look at Four who is sitting beside me. He nods

"Alyx Bea Eaton." Four finishes.

"Awww that's such a pretty name!" Christina says, "what does it mean?"

"Well," I start, "we wanted to have one name to represent the faction we both came from, and one for the faction that we are currently in. Since Aiden has a Dauntless name, we decided to give her an Abnegation name just spelled differently. Her name means "helper of mankind" and of course we gave her my name, shortened, as her middle name."

"Very creative." Will nods

"Aiden," Four says as he picks him up, "meet your little sister, Alyx"
