Tris POV
We are in line at the cafeteria getting breakfast. Mike and Peter are helping serve.
"What are they doing serving breakfast?" Marlene asks.
"Probably the only other job there was." Shauna chuckles.
"Huh?" Marlene starts, "I thought they were wall guards."
"Yah but wall guards don't do a ton, so usually to earn extra points they volunteer to do a second job every once in a while. Cafeteria work must've been there only option for a second job."
"Ohhhh I get it now." Marlene giggles, "they sure do look ridiculous with nets on their head." We all laugh.
I grab a muffin and Lex, who is behind me, grabs 2 pieces of toast. We keep walking down the row until we reach the spot where Peter and Mike are serving.
"Here stiffs." Mike says handing us our coffees. Peter smirks. Usually we don't drink coffee but Lex and I are so exhausted from leadership training lately we need it.
"That's Dauntless leader to you jerk." Lex retorts. I can't help but grin.
"Yah we'll see about that." Peter says, his eyes narrowing.
We all sit down and quickly eat our breakfast. The only people not here are Christina and Will. A few minutes later they walk into breakfast their hair tussled and their clothes put on messily.
"You guys have some fun this morning?" Uriah teases
"Oh shut up." Christina laughs....

Later that NightI drowsily walk into our apartment, exhausted from a long day in Training.
"Hello gorgeous." Four says as he stands up.
"Hi." I mumble
"Long day?" He asks wrapping his arms around me, pulling me into his embrace. I nod into his shoulder.
"We did fear simulations for the entire first half of the day and physical combat the second half. It's to test our physical and mental abilities for leadership or something like that. My muscles are aching so badly." I moan. He rubs my back.
"I think I know what can make you feel better."
"How?" I say raising my head from his shoulder.
"Lay down...on your stomach." he says leading me to the bed. I do as he says. He gets on his knees on top of me and starts massaging my shoulders. I exhale deeply as I relax into the bed. 10 minutes later Four finishes my massage and I slowly roll over on my back.
"Thank you," I breath. He kisses me on the lips.
"Any time." He says smiling.

Lex POVI wake up and muscles are aching, my head throbbing. My eyes burn and I feel warm. I groan as I roll over on my side. Emma, my roommate and childhood best friend also from Abnegation, walks into my room.
"Woah girl you don't look so good." She says
"Y'a think?" I say weakly.
"You look really pale." She adds.
"Can you bring me the thermometer?" I ask sitting up. She goes into the bathroom and comes back with the thermometer. I put it under my tongue. A minute later it beeps, reading 104.3.
"I think you should go to the infirmary Lex." Emma says, a concerned look spread across her face.
"But I have leadership training today." I say
"Oh nonsense I'll tell them you're really sick and that'll be the end of it. Come on I'll walk with you to the infirmary." She replies. I groan as I get up and put a black hoodie on. We walk out of the apartment.
We walk for a minute until we are out of the apartment complex, and my vision starts to go blurry. I try to ignore it and push forward but am greeted by complete darkness as I collapse to the ground.

Tobias POV
I decide to let Tris sleep in a bit this morning. She needs it. The clock reads 6 a.m. I decide to wake her up at 6:30. In the mean time I go take a shower and gets dressed. When I come back into our bedroom Tris is sorta awake.
"Four she groans."
"Yes love?" I say putting my hand on her cheek. I pull back immediately...she feels warm, really warm. I feel her forehead this time. Heat pressing into my hand.
"You feel really hot Tris."
"Really?" She asks, "it feels like Antarctica in here."
I go grab the thermometer from our bathroom. I come back and place it under her tongue. It beeps and I take it out. It reads 104.6.
"Baby, we need to get you to the infirmary right now." I say starting to help her out of bed.
"But Tobias," she whines, "I have leadership training today I can't miss it."
"Tris," I start, "your health is more important than training. I'll just tell Max you are really sick today and can't come."
"Fine." She groans.
She stands up and starts walking towards the closet, opening it and putting on one of my sweatshirts. She turns around and starts walking toward me. Suddenly she stops and says,
"Tobias I don't feel so-" before she can say the last word she collapses to the ground.
"TRIS!" I yell running to her, catching her just before she hits the floor. I scoop her up immediately and rush to the infirmary.
