Your sitting under a tree next to the oval that Jake is playing footy on. You focus on the book you're reading and you don't notice Jake walking towards you. He lies down next to you breathing heavily. He watches you, your hair falling from behind your ears, the little crinkles in between your eyes and the way your eyes dart around the pages of your book.
Jake sits up and takes your book.
"Your beautiful when you focus" he says when you try and grab the book. You pause, your cheeks warming. He leans in and kisses your lips, his hand on your hips, not moving lower. Your hand is cupping his cheek as the kiss gets deeper. The school bell rings and you break apart. You smile as he stands up, offering you his hand. You grab your book and his hand and together you walk to your class.
