Felix's P.O.V

I fall onto the couch in my room, watching as Y/N strips off her school jacket and places her bag down. Pushing her hair out of her face, she huffs, shuffling her hands through the files in her bag, frown growing from looking at all the homework assigned. She collapses onto my bed, ignoring my eyes that were watching her. She picked up a highlighter, and started to highlight passages in her English book, the bright orange covering the plain page.

I sigh, watching her concentrate. Exams had passed already for the end of the year, but she wanted to stay on top of her holiday homework. It was the last day of term, and all ready she looked stressed.

"Y/N?" I call across the room to her, wanting to capture her attention, but instead, she flicks across to another page. "Hun, it's to early to start homework yet. Relax." I walk across the room, standing at the edge of the bed, towering over her small figure. She shakes her head, brow furrowing deeper. I tug the book out of her hands, earning a small gasp for her, as she looks down at her empty hands.

"Felix, c'mon. I need to get through this." I shake my head, not giving in. She groans, trying to reach for the book that I hold just out of her reach. "Uh uh uh. How about we make a deal?" I ask her, walking away with the book still in my hand. I hear a huff behind me, signalling me to continue. "You don't start homework until the first Monday of the holidays. Does that sound fair?" I turn around to face her, watching as her eyes flicker between the book and I.

And then she lunges, her body falling towards me, and her hand grasping the book. I fall onto my bed, a gasp leaving my mouth as she falls on top of me. I groan as her elbow lands in my stomach, a breath escaping her mouth as she looks down at me. "Well this was never part of the plan. And, uh, could you move your elbow? It's pushing into my stomach." I earn a laugh from her as she pulls her arm away from my stomach. She straddles me, closing the book that was next to my head, and playing with one of my hands.

'Fine, I guess that's an okay deal. And this is payback for the elbow to the stomach." Her head hangs down, hair falling in front of her face. I push it behind her ear, leaning up on my elbows.

"How bout we watch some Netflix or something? Hmm? Celebrate the first day of the holidays?" She nods, getting off me and pulling the blanket off the bed. I stand up, shrugging off my grey school shirt revealing a t-shirt underneath.

I walk into an empty kitchen and raid the pantry and fridge for snacks. I pull everything out and carry it back to the bungalow. As I walk into the room, I muffle a laugh with my hand, noticing her head underneath the blankets and bottom slightly in the air. I place down the snacks and pull the blanket off her head, the rush blowing her hair around her face.

"What are you doing, hiding down there?" I ask, smirking at her flushed cheeks. She shrugs, looking around again before collapsing on the bed. She lifts a hand and waves at the TV.

"I was looking for the remote. I can't seem to find it anywhere.' I sigh and move towards the couch, lifting up the cushions and looking through the gaps. The remote was nowhere in sight. I shrug and turn back to her, before noticing my computer tucked under the blanket on my bed. I pick it up and hover it  in front of face. She blushes, sending me a glare at the same time.

I sit back against the head board of the bed, pulling Y/N towards me. She moves under the blankets, resting a hand on my thigh as my arm winds around her shoulders. I scroll through my Netflix list, looking for a show or movie to watch, before coming across Sing Street. I look at her, seeing her nod before pressing on the movie. And as the title credits roll for the start, I push my head into the side of her neck, placing kisses on her exposed skin.

"Didn't really need the remote now, did we?" I whisper in her ear, the music of the film starting up and catching my attention again, turning back to watch. And just as I turn back, I notice the rosy hue on her soft cheeks, her eyes not able to make contact.

Something of a working progress over the last month. Also, Happy New year.

Go watch Sing Street if you get a chance, reminds me of home and I absolutely love it.

Like look at my boys making music. With a killer soundtrack, pure Irish accents and a 80's shit hole vibe, it has become one of my favorite movie of all time.
