Sam was somewhat a romantic man, always surprising you with little gifts, and random acts of kindness, and this date was one of those.
As you walked into your apartment, you noticed the lit candles everywhere, and the dining room table set for two. Roses surrounded you, and gave off a sweet smell. And then you noticed him.
With his hair slicked back, and wearing a white shirt and navy blue tie, he looked as dashing as he had the first time you met him. He smiled at you, walking towards you, taking off your coat, and hanging your bag on it's hook,
"Welcome home Y/N" He kissed your cheek, pulling you towards the table.
"Sammy, what's this for?" He sat you down, pouring you a glass of wine, and serving some of your favourite food.
"I just wanted a special night with my girl. We haven't had much time together recently." Sam smiles at you, his eyes taking in all your beauty. He was amazed that you were his, that he had the fortune to be with you every day. He loved you since the moment he met you, only wanting to be with you. Throughout your 3 year relationship, the two of you hand seen the beautiful and the wicked things about each other, but that only helped your relationship grow further, knowing that you were perfect for each other.
That night was amazing. It gave you and Sam chance to chat, about the future, dreams, and all your problems. He made you laugh and smile, and after a long stressful day at work, you felt relaxed. You loved him.
After changing into pjs, the both of you collapsed onto the couch, Sam pulling you into his arms.
"You know what? I can't imagine anything better." You said, earing a smile from Sam. He pulled you closer, placing his lips on yours, and a hand on your cheek.
This was home. You were home
