Khathari's POV

After we cleaned up the mess in the kitchen, we still had a lot of spare time.

It is Friday, after all.

Nharro and I were having a movie marathon in his bedroom.

Although many people would have movie marathons with snacks, blankets, and all, Roro and I were different.

We made a pillow fort with chairs, blankets, pillows, and everything a decent pillow fort needed.

I would've paid more attention to the movie, but I had a lot on my mind.

Let me explain.

When that mysterious figure came at me in the kitchen, it held two glowing orbs that were orbiting each other. One was silver, the other was bronze.

I stepped back to defend myself, and my bracelet started glowing. The next thing I knew, there was a set of wings behind my back. They were shaped just like Roro's but had a galactic aura.

The strange figure approached me and threw both orbs at me. Somehow they fused into me and changed my wing color. It turned them silver.

I wonder why it didn't turn them bronze.

Roro knows what happened from there.

"You're a little quiet," Roro said, crashing my train of thought.

"Sorry."

"You're hiding something."

"I'm not."

"You're my best friend. I know you from every angle."

He was right. He knew me too well.

"I'm just a little in shock from that situation in the kitchen," I excused.

I can tell him the truth, but I don't have to give him the whole thing.

Nharro hugged me and did his best to comfort me.

"Maybe we should get some sleep," he said.

I don't want to be stuck in another dream.

"No," I answered, " We could be stuck in a dream for three days again."

"What are you talking about?"

"If we sleep with these bracelets, we'll be trapped in a dream for three days."

"I guess that is a possibility."

Roro then took off both our bracelets. He put his bracelet in his pocket, and I did the same with mine.

Then we both fell asleep on the couch.

I felt the morning sun on my face and sat up.

"Morning, Ro," I sleepily said as I stretched and rubbed my eyes.

I opened my eyes.

I mumbled something inappropriate under my breath because I was back in the same godforsaken bedroom.

Three days to spend in a nightmare of a dream.

I did a quick morning routine and lazed around in the room.

Okay, so we got three days, and everything will be back tomorrow. I just need to avoid anything unusual. To do that, I'm just going to do some self-isolation for the next few days. Easy peasy.

Isti barged into my room unannounced just at that moment.

"Ah, good you're up and at it already. Come now, I've already hired a teacher for you, and he's waiting in the library. Once your lessons are done, we're going to the village to get your first medellila."
