Nharro's POV

As Djivann's father walked me back to the castle, I couldn't help myself looking all over the place.

Let me explain.

I got my medellia, and it gives me the ability to see traces of anything related to otherworldly forces.

To simplify, I can check anything for magical traces just by looking at it.

Anything magical I looked at had a unique aura.

What I find really cool is that the aura varies on what kind of magic it is.

Vines twist and turn around any magic related to plants.

When I saw a pet owner talking to his pet, smoke figures shaped like animals lingered around him.

It was so cool!

I wonder why Tari wasn't able to get one.

Passing by the fountain tree, it possessed a peculiar kind of aura.

Golden.

When we arrived back on the castle grounds, I ran to Tari in the garden, but I stopped midway.

Her aura was similar to the fountain tree.

However, it was a mix of silver and bronze.

Thinking back, I had a feeling there must be a connection between the medallions.

Isn't the bronze medallion supposed to be evil...?

Why is its aura there then?

I approached Tari with hesitation.

Tari turned around and smiled at me.

"You're finally back."

I sat beside her by the pond, but the strange mist surrounding her still persisted.

I'm not going to tell her.

We're going to leave this place once we get rid of those bracelets anyway.

The next day we met with the leader and co-leader of the Irradatte. The leader was Djivann's uncle.

They were here to bring us to the eastern docks for our trip to the said training ground.

Apparently, we don't return to the kingdom unless we're ready to be under the apprenticeship of the Irradatte.

I was looking around for Yuutario Dyo while Tari was saying her goodbyes to Isti.

Dyo was nowhere to be found.

"Prove to me you're not as cursed as people tell me," I heard Isti say.

It felt uncomfortable hiding what I saw from Tari, but I kept telling myself it was better than telling her.

We sat behind the Irradatte leaders of our kingdom and made our way to the eastern docks. It was on the other side of the land.

When we arrived, Tari and I came across other pairs who were also going to the eastern docks.

Djivann's uncle said that they were coming from other kingdoms.

They seemed comfortable around each other, but they tensed up every time Tari and I tried to make an approach.

The co-leader with Tari told us, "Don't worry. They're just nervous since they know your kingdom leads them all."

"Wait," I interrupted, "I thought you said they were from different kingdoms?"

"Well, yes, they are. However, all of them have appointed our kingdom as leader of it all."
