The silence is starting to make me self-conscious. Ever since Malfoy walked out I've avoided him.
Draco's p.o.v
The second I enter the room Alex tenses up.
"Good morning"I greet half-heartedly Silence follows
"Is that what this is? For Merlin's sake" I slam my fork into my pancakes
"You tell me. You know everything so well." Her stubborn silence breaks
"I never said that"
"Do you not know the truth when you see it? I don't let my walls down like that." He eyes become wet and she crosses her arms "I'm so stupid, I should've never told you" she starts to storm away, I swiftly get up
"Stop" I command swallowing thickly them
"Why so you can deny how I feel? You think you're so smart but you know nothing. Does it even matter how I feel?"
"I wasn't denying your feelings. I doubted them,because it doesn't make sense that you'd feel that way about me. I'm sorry."
"You should be." She turns back around but doesn't move "Asswhole. I-"
"I am" I spin her around, kissing her. She pulls away kissing me. I still grip her waist tightly
"I know there's no good reason for you to trust me, but I want you here with me, happy. I know I'm selfish, but I'll do whatever it takes to keep you happy, Princess"
"Whatever it takes?" She plays with the flap of my blazer
"Yes"She melts in my arms
"Fine. Promise you won't avoid me, again?"
"I Promise, princess" I cup her jaw tightly, pressing a kiss to the tip of her nose
"Come with me" she demands. She leads me by the hand into the kitchen. "Jo, can I have a bowl of fruit, please"
"You dragged me in there for fruit?" I let out a chuckle
"I'm hungry. So yes. Here." She scoots a piece of Strawberry up to my lips I eat it.
"It's really sweet. Hmm. We're going to have dinner out somewhere."
"Look at you, being all spontaneous"
"Just a little. I want to make it up to you" She presses a kiss to my neck in response "I need to make the reservations"
"Just two more minutes" she whines
"Fine." I huff holding in a grin
Alex P.O.V
"I just made the reservations for 8:00 o'clock"
"That sounds fancy."
"Only the best for you" he replies
"I don't care as long as I get to spend time with you" I admit
"You're too kind, Lex" he frowns slightly
"Draco, what's wrong?"
"I'm terrible, a bloody fool. I shouldn't have ignored you"
"I'm not going to Lie, and say it's ok. I forgive you, you don't have to feel guilty."
"But, I do. I'm not good for you. I took you away from your whole life, you should hate me."
"I did but I can't hate you anymore. What you did was bad and irrational, but I don't care. I want to be here with you, now."
"I don't deserve you."
