6. growing closer

*Rowan*

Over the past few weeks Valkyrie and i have grown closer. But i can't disregard Elizabeth. She has been rather odd recently, avoiding my calls and texting me the same old thing.
'i'm so sorry I've been feeling sick bur we can catch up soon'
What was wrong with her? Everytime i offered to take her to the hospital she would do everything in her power to avoid it.

The new maid Charity. I don't remember hiring her...but Valkyrie seems to like her so i will leave it. I have more important things to do.
When we returned from the mall i went into my office, and saw that Elizabeth's file had been moved.

(Each person has a file and it contains all their details including their adress)

I could have sworn i left it in my draw...
'ROWAN! ROWAN WHY IS HE HERE?'
I sprinted downstairs, it's Mark i know it is it's-
'Caspian?' i ask 'what are you doing here? I...i thought' i exhaled.
'Rowan are you alright?' Valkyrie asked i turned and gave her a smile,
'Yeah VV I'm fine' i reassured her.
'Hey Rowan...uhh did i catch you at a bad time?' Caspian asked,
'No Cas it's fine, what are you doing here? I thought you were in England studying, how long are you here for?' I ask, he chuckles before replying
'Depending on my current mission but I've come here for....well....it's complicated' he let out an awkward laugh.
Right.
'Oh right Cas this is my wife Valkyrie, VV this is Casper my good friend. He went to study abroad which is why you haven't seen him around, he also takes care of Elizabeth while I'm busy' i explain.
She frowns ever so slightly
'I see... Nice to meet you! May i ask why you came back?' She asked
'Ah yes well i wanted to see how everyone's doing, i haven't seen Rowan or Lizzie for ages!' He laughs i laugh with him
'A month and a half to be precise'
Valkyrie gives him another suspicious look before leaving
'Where are you going VV?' I ask
'Oh I'm going to my room, I've got a few more things to do and i want to let you catch up' she gives me a grin before running back to her room.
'So how have you been?' I ask and he sighs.
'Exhausted. You have nooo idea' he rolls his eyes 'you barley kept in contact'he accused and i laughed lightly
'my bad, i was busy...with Mark' i say
'Ah. Oh well Lizzie kept me company, i went to visit her last week'
A jolt went through my body. Last week? But...she said she was busy...all week...
'When did you see her?' I ask
'Oh! She let me stay at her house'
Another jolt went through me.
'HIII QUICK THE MOVIE'S STARTING!' Valkyrie linked arms as dragged us all the way there.
'I thought you needed saving' she whispered
'I think you are right' i mutter
We sit to watch the movie VV picked out and it was actually good, my mood was better now.

*Ding*

I took out my phone
Lizzie: hey baby! How are you? I'm sorry for not talking but i wasn't feeling well, can i come over?

I sighed and texted back

Me: hey babe sorry not now I'm watching a movie with Cas and VV

Lizzie: VV?

Me: Valkyrie

It gave me some satisfaction in telling her that i had a nickname for Valkyrie

Lizzie: ok :( after?

Me: After Xx

Lizzie: yay! See you soon

I frown no kisses?

*Valkyrie*

Something was up 100%. Caspian wasn't supposed to be here was he? I mean Rowan looked surprised himself....and not to mention HE. STAYED. WITH. ELIZABETH. I don't care how good friends you are. You don't do that to a bestie, if i did that to Rosi she would without a doubt release every single mug of me that she possesses oh gosh i can see it now. Personally if i was Rowan i would simply throw him in the lake....or maybe hit him with another salmon.....
'Charity?'
'Yes miss? Is there something you need?' She asked
'May i ask...why do you always have that bulky black watch? I could buy you a really nice one' i say
She panics,
'Oh no miss! It's perfectly okay! This...this watch um..it's special to me!' She said.
'Uh huh...' Yeah that's a lie.
I let it go anyway, i can deal with that later.

*call from Rosi*
'SIS? OMG WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME??? IT'S BEEN WEEKS OH MY DAYS WE'VE BARELY SPOKEN SINCE THE WEDDING!!! WHY NOT? YOU DIDN'T EVEN MEET RON CA-
'ROSI'! I'm sorry i was really really busy and yes i will meet Ron. How about tomorrow?' I laugh
'Omg yes! That would be awsome! Can you bring Rowan?' She asked
'Course! Depends if he's busy let me go ask ok?'
'Ok byeee Love you sis!!!'
I chuckle
'Love you moree'
I run to go tell Rowan about tomorrow.
'Baby could i ask you somsthing?' I heard Elizabeth ask.
I felt a pang in my chest. What? Why am i feeling...OH HELL NO! I DID NOT FALL FOR HIM! I DIDN'T GIVE MY CONSENT FOR THAT! WHO LET THIS HAPPEN??? Oh gosh.
'Baby..tomorrow could we-'
EXCUSE ME?
'ROWAN! We're meeting Rosi and her boyfriend Ron tomorrow'
He looks surprised and Elizabeth looks sad i kind of feel bad.... But Rosi asked.... Oh well she can get what she wants with him another time.
'Yeah sure VV! Lizzie what were you saying?'
'Oh nothing, i just wanted to let you know that Cas is staying over at mine tonight and tomorrow night as he has no where to stay' she smiled brightly.
Ouch. That's got to hurt.
Rowan just sighs and smiles
'Alright it's settled! I'll see you tomorrow' he tells me 'bye Lizzie! And have fun!'
She smiles 'bye babe, by Val...is it okay if i call you that?'
That's....shocking....
'Sure!'
I make my way to my room and I'm left alone with my thoughts...
OH MY GOSH WHAT IS GOING ON? I FEEL LIKE I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A DRAMA OR SOMETHING!!! DAMN IS THIS SOME SORT OF LOVE TRIANGLE? Wait...no way
