1. the marriage

I always hate the morning, i don't get how people are so bubbly and happy like come on there is no way on earth that 'you've just woken up' with your perfect hair and make up like come on.
I get ready for school. Ugh i would really love to smack the person who invented school. I mean it's not that bad... But then again it is.
I go intot the kitchen and grab some toast
'Morning kori!'
'Morning mum' i mumble through my toast, she laughs
'your just a ray of sunshine aren't you' she says with a smile
'It's 7 in the morning' i grumble.

'Hey val!' That's 100% Rosalind i swear she is one of the only people who just wake up happy ' VAL YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHAT!"
'What? Your pregnant?' I wince as she screams in my ear. Rosi gives me a weird look
'How did you know?' She eyes me suspisiously. That woke me up.
'WHAT? EXCUSE ME? NO. WHAT? I-' she cuts me off
'Im kidding!' She laughs 'anyway Ron asked me out and i said yes!' She squeals
'Oh my God don't do that i nearly had a heart attack i grumble
'congrats and tell me if something happens I've got my boxing gloves ready' i joke and we both laugh.

Ughhhhh first period is science yay for me. I swear my teacher hates me but oh well I'm to fabulous for her to handle.
I sit at the back on my own away from the drama, there's always a new rumour floating around i guess Rosi will fill me in later on.
'Welcome welcome everyone please take your seats! It's a new year so let's switch things up shall we!' Miss summers says
Everyone begins moving but i stay put at the back, no one usually sits next to me because again I'm to fabulous.
*dramatic hair flip*
Miss takes the register while i zone out...
'Rowan!... Rowan? No Rowan?'
Of course not, mr badboy is never in and is always hot topic of gossip like yeah i get that he's hot but like stop drooling. It's weird. And-
'Here miss sorry i had an appointment' he says

Of course he did.
He scans the room for an emty seat and his eyes land on the one next to me...oh no.
Great.
'Hi' he says
'Yup uh huh' i mumble. Come on it will only be for this lesson right? I mean Im certain the other girls will move so he can sit with THEM but ugh why me? I'm probably a very unlucky person or something.

'Wow your friendly' he states
'What's it to you mr badboy?' I say maybe i can annoy him to death and he'll move?
'Mr badboy? I haven't heard that one before' Rowan chuckles
I roll my eyes 'you live under a rock or something?' I mutter under my breath
'Nope! I live in a very cozy mansion' he brags
'Very nice. Now let me get on with my work, I'm already failing' i snap.
He chuckles again. Ugh.
I wasn't lying when i said i was failing i suck at science and it's not like the teachers actually help.

Rowan pestered me throughout the whole lesson nonstop.
'Dude seriously why are you talking to me?' I snap
'we will be seeing each other a lot more so i thought i could get to know you' he says

'Bish you have a girlfriend' i remind him. And oh. My. Days. This man just shrugs. IS YOUR GIRLFRIEND NOT IMPORTANT? SHE COULD BE YOUR FUTURE WIFE FOR HEAVEN SAKES.
I'm glad I'm not his girlfriend.
I spend the rest the day complaining about school and wishing to go home.
'Finallyyyyyy we are freeeee' i squeal and Rosie follows
'Byeee I'm getting a ride with Ron!' She shouts and i sigh. It's only been one day and I'm already walking home on my own.

Call from mum

I pick it up.
'Hey sweetie i need you to come to ***** resturant ok? Go home first and put on the dress i got for you, Steven will drive you'

Call has ended

Love you too mum. I go home quickly and put on the red dress mum got me and slipped on some flats. I run a brush through my brown hair. Steven drives me to the resurant and the first thing i see is mum and dad sitting down facing another couple and there son... Wait... No way
Is that...
Rowan?

I step in cautiously
'um hi im Valkyrie' i say to his parents
'Hi! Im mrs Moon but please just call me mom' she says with a smile
M...mom?
I turn to dad about to ask him what is going but mum puts a hand on my arm and i stop.

'I thank you for agreeing to the marriage' Rowans dad says

'It's our pleasure my daughter is happy and I'm sure so is your son' dad replies
