AVA STOOD ON THE LANDING PLATFORM, waiting for the Starfighter to be prepared for takeoff.

"It could be dangerous. We don't know anything about Kamino." Obi-Wan stated, coming to stand beside her,

"Well, it's a good thing I have a Jedi Master with me." Ava smirked before they entered the cockpit.

It didn't take long to reach Kamino via light speed. Ava stared down at the blue planet in awe. Someone did erase it from the archives.

"There it is." Obi-Wan sighed, "Our missing planet of Kamino right where it should be."

Obi-Wan broke through the rainy clouds and approached the ports that sat above the waves of the planet's oceans. They landed on the platform and once the cockpit opened, Ava slipped on her hood, not that it would help much.

Ava stepped on the starship's wing to step down and slipped on the wet metal. Obi-Wan, who was already standing on the platform, reached out to prevent her from smacking onto the metal.

"Thanks." She mumbled, straightening up and wrapping her robe tighter around her.

Obi-Wan nodded, "Keep your guard up."

She nodded before following behind him towards the doors. Once they stepped inside they lowered their hoods and Ava squinted at the bright hallways,

"Master Jedi, the Prime Minister is expecting you." Ava glanced up at the tall, pasty-white alien with large, dark eyes.

"We're expected?" Obi-Wan questioned, the two Jedis glancing at each other briefly,

"Of course! He is anxious to see you. After all these years, we were beginning to think you weren't coming. Now please, this way!" They followed the alien down a corridor,

Ava tried her best to not stare at the other citizens of the planet, but they were so unlike anything she had ever seen before.

Obi-Wan nudged her in the rubs with his elbow to keep her eyes forward. She rolled her eyes at him before staring ahead.

A door opened before them and another alien sat in a chair in the middle of the room. They stood as the three of them approached, "May I present Lama Su, Prime Minister of Kamino..." The three of them bowed towards each other, "and this is Master Jedi...

"Obi-Wan Kenobi." Obi-Wan finished,

"And his Padawan..."

"Oh, uh, Ava Skywalker." She smiled nervously,

"I trust you are going to enjoy your stay. Please..." Two chair appeared from the ceiling and Ava waited for Obi-Wan's approval before moving to sit, "And now to business. You will be delighted to hear we are on schedule. Two hundred thousand units are ready, with another million well on the way.

"That is...," Obi-Wan glanced over at Ava, who shrugged slightly to let him know she had no clue what they were talking about, before looking back at Taun We, "...good news."

"Please tell your Master Sifo-Dyas that we have every confidence his order will be met on time." Lama Su stated,

Ava furrowed her eyebrows, Master Sifo-Dyas? She had never heard his name before.

Obi-Wan spoke up, "I'm sorry Master- ?"

"Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas. He's still a leading member of the Jedi Council, is he not?" Lama Su asked,

"Master Sifo-Dyas was killed almost ten years ago." Obi-Wan informed him,

"Oh, I am so sorry to hear that. I'm sure he'd be proud of the army we built for him." Lama Su stated.

"T-the army?" Obi-Wan stuttered and Ava glanced over at him,

Obi-Wan seemed surprised at the knowledge of this. Did Sifo-Dyas order this army without consulting or telling anyone?

"Yes, a clone army. And I must say, one of the finest we've ever created." Lama Su answered,

"Tell me, Prime Minister, when did my master first contact you about the army? Did he say who it was for?" Obi-Wan questioned,

"Of course he did, this army is for the Republic." He informed them, "You must be anxious to inspect the units for yourself."

Obi-Wan smiled, "That's why we're here."

The three of them stood and followed the Prime Minister and Taun We out of the room.

"Why does the Republic need an army?" Ava whispered to Obi-Wan,

"I don't know." He stated, his bright eyes piercing hers, "But we need to find out."
