"NOW, VICEROY, you are going to have to go back to the Senate and explain all this." Queen Amidala said.
They were all gathered behind the Queen, waiting for the Viceroy to board a ship back to the Senate. "I think you can kiss your Trade franchise goodbye." Panaka said, walking up to the Viceroy.
Ava stayed next to Queen Amidala as Obi-Wan and Anakin along with Panaka led the Viceroy and his assistant to the ship and Chancellor Palpatine stepped off, "Congratulations on your election, Chancellor. It is so good to see you again." Amidala said to the Chancellor,
"It's good to be home. Your boldness has saved our people, Your Majesty. It is you who should be congratulated. Together we shall bring peace and prosperity to the Republic."
They left to go back to Coruscant, to meet with the Yoda, head of the council. Obi-Wan went in first to speak with him while Ava stayed outside, pacing.
Soon the door opened and Obi-Wan walked out, "He's ready for you."
She let out a short, nervous breath and wiped her sweaty hands on her tunic.
"Everything will be okay." Obi-Wan comforted,
"I killed him." Ava sighed, "I didn't even hesitate."
Obi-Wan put his hand on her uninjured arm, "If you wouldn't have stopped him, he would have killed me. You saved my life, Ava." He removed his arm, "Don't keep him waiting."
She nodded, giving Obi-Wan one last look before entering the room, bowing to Yoda. Ava kneeled in front of him and he paced, "Come to a decision, the council and I have." Yoda stated. Ava held my breath as he continued, "Great power, you have. And much potential. Therefore, train you, I will."
Ava's eyes widened, "Excuse me?"
"My apprentice, you will be." Yoda said, "Now, find Obi-Wan, you will. Waiting for you, your brother is."
"Thank you, Master." Ava smiled, standing up and bowing before leaving the room,
"May the Force be with you." She heard Yoda say as she left,
AVA STOOD NEXT TO Anakin at the Funeral Steps in the Central Plaza, watching Qui-Gon's body light up in flames, "What will happen to me now?" Anakin asked Obi-Wan,
"The council has granted me permission to train you. You will become a Jedi, I promise." Obi-Wan answered as Ava grabbed Anakin's hand as they continued to watch Qui-Gon's body burn.
The next day was a celebration of the victory of the battle against the Droids. There was a giant parade, where Gungans play instruments and fighter jets flew above the city. Ava stood on a stage, in between a short-haired Anakin and Obi-Wan.
"Please, take care of him." She whispered over to Obi-Wan as Amidala handed Boss Nass the Globe of Peace,
"Of course. As long as you take care of yourself as well."
Ava looked over at him and smiled, "I can try."
Obi-Wan smiled over at her as well and grabbed her hand, squeezing it.
"Peace!"
Everyone cheered, and as they were distracted by the Globe of Peace, Yoda watched the two Jedis interact.
