Voldemort looked like he was in shock when Bella told him that Draco and I had completed the tasks.

"So you killed him?" he questioned.

"Yes, My Lord," said Draco.

Just a few days ago, Draco and I partook in the murder of Dumbledore and obviously, neither Draco or I have been doing well.

Everyone in the room burst into applause and Voldemort gave a nod of approval.

"Looks like you two will be able to enjoy your baby for a little longer than I expected," he said pettily.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and blinked back my tears. It baffles me that these people can be so calm when it comes to murder; they all move on with their lives like they didn't just take away someone's love one.

"And as promised, I will break Lucius out of Azkaban thanks to your competence," he said to Draco and me.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Draco avert his eyes from Voldemort and nod slowly. Draco isn't a big fan of his father so I knew he was completely dreading seeing Lucius again.

Just great. I have another thing to stress about. Because Blair and I succeeded in our tasks, Voldemort is breaking my father out of Azkaban in return. You'd think I'd be happy, but nope. I can't stand my father.

Blair was already up in our room. I walked inside, and the sound of her throwing up made me hurry to the bathroom.

Ever since Dumbledore's death, she hasn't been doing well. She throws up way more and has been way more depressed - not that I blame her though. I've been feeling the same.

I stooped down beside Blair and held her hair away from her face. When she finished throwing up, she sat back in my lap and I wrapped my arms around her.

"I can't do this," she said tiredly.

I stood up and picked her up before setting her on the bathroom counter.

She had tears in her eyes and her makeup was smudged.

"Why do you say that?" I asked as I helped her clean up.

"Why do I say that?" she said bitterly. "Well we did just help murder someone and I'm pregnant. Not to mention we're Death Eaters!"

"Okay, okay! Calm down!" I chided.

I went to wipe her face but she slapped my hand away. "Don't touch me!" she scolded.

"I'm trying to be a good husband! Weren't you the one whining because you thought I was going to leave you?" I snarled.

Her blue eyes glared into mine, but then her face fell and she burst into tears.

Right. Mood swings.

Blair buried her face into my chest, and I wrapped my arms around her.

"I-I'm sorry fo-for thinking th-that. You've o-only bee-been good to me...for the most p-part," she stammered.

I pulled her face away from my chest and smiled at her. Blair and mood swings were actually quite funny.

"Stop laughing at me!" she jeered.

"I'm not! Calm down," I chuckled, wiping away her tears.

She pouted at me and I kissed her forehead gently. "You'll be a great mum, and don't worry about what our lives have come to. We didn't have a choice throughout all this, but at least we had the choice to love each other," I said.
