"Draco, Blair! Come in, come in! We must discuss your tasks!" Voldemort called from the study that Draco and I waited outside of.

I felt my stomach turn. The tasks. These were sure to be evil. I had heard my father talk about the things he was put through, and well I already knew Draco and I were about to be put through the same.

We sat down at the desk across from Voldemort who smiled devilishly as us. I hated this man so much.

"I am just so glad you both joined me! Lucius would be so proud of you Draco. Shame he couldn't witness it. And Blair, well your parents have been wanting you to join me for years!"

I felt a stab of betrayal. They wanted me to join him? And for years? And they never warned me? Why had the not prepared me for this?

"Today, I ask of you two to partake in the kidnapping of Ollivander, and bring him here."

Great. We have to kidnap someone for our first task under the Dark Lord.

Draco and I both nodded before he continued.

"Next, I'd like you both to start repairing the Vanishing Cabinets."

I felt a wave of relief. I knew that the cabinets had been used to transport people. Repairing them didn't sound so bad. Or so I thought.

"We'll use them to bring Death Eaters into Hogwarts."

Spoke too soon.

"And finally, I want Dumbledore gone," he finished.

"Like dead?" asked Draco.

"Dead."

Dead...we had to kill a man. An innocent man.

"W-why?" Draco asked.

"He's powerful. Too powerful, and he's protecting Harry. When he's gone, we can finally get Harry Potter. And he possesses the Elder Wand. I want it," he replied, simply.

"How do you expect me to do all this though? I don't attend Hogwarts?" I asked.

"Ah yes. I spoke to your parents already. You'll be transferring from Beauxbatons."

"Are you kidding me?"

Voldemort glared at me, "Yes. Is that a problem, Miss Edwards?"

His glare scared me.

"N-no. S-sorry M-Lord."

"Very good! Now, you'll have till the end of the year, and if you don't fulfill what is asked of you...well I think you both know exactly what will happen."

Death. A slow and painful death is exactly what will happen to us if we don't complete our tasks. Although, it sounds better than having to marry Draco and have my life controlled by Voldemort and my parents for the rest of my life.

As I walked out of the study, Voldemort's plan dawned on me. He already knew that Draco and I were too weak to fulfill the tasks. He was using us as he knew that Draco and I would not get along with having to be married. We were Death Eaters because we were filling in for Lucius until he was back, and then we would be killed off.

-

Draco and I stood outside the Manor with three other Death Eaters. Fenrir, Antonin, and Travers.

"Get the old man, or the Dark Lord will be very unhappy. Remember, this is a test," Fenrir sneered.

I sighed and shared a quick glance with Draco before we both slipped the skull-like masks over our faces.

We then apparated, and when I opened my eyes, we were in an abandoned alley way. Fenrir motioned for us all to follow him. He led us to Ollivander's, and we ducked beside the shop so we were out of sight. I could not believe I was about to be involved in a kidnapping.

"You two, don't screw this up, or we all get it," Antonin jeered at Draco and I.

I sighed, and pulled my wand out, holding it at the ready. We stood hidden in the dark until the streets had quieted down.

"Alright. Now!" Fenrir commanded.

Without hesitation, I followed the others into the alley way. I was not risking my life to the Dark Lord by not participating.

The remaining people in the streets screamed as we appeared. We shot spells at them as then ran into safety.

Travers pointed his wand at the shop door, and it blew off revealing a panicked, old, man.

"Get him!" Fenrir barked.

Draco and I stormed up to him. The man did not even fight back. He just huddled deep into the shop until Draco and I each grabbed one of his arms.

I felt bad for him, and I felt bad for us too. This is what our life had come to. Being the predator, and scaring the prey. Innocent people would soon look at us, and wonder if they were next. We were evil, and we didn't even have a say in what our life has become.

He finally began to thrash and scream in protest.

"Can you do something about this coward?" Draco snapped.

I rolled my eyes and dropped Ollivander. I pointed my wand at him and said the words, "Petrificus Totalus."

Ollivander's body froze up, and he quickly stopped moving. I flicked my wand again, casting the Wingardium Leviosa charm, and the stunned body of Ollivander floated towards the entrance of the shop where the other Death Eaters were destroying everything in sight. They had rounded up a group of people, and were harassing them. I would've done something, I really would've, but it would've made everything much worse.

"Good job. Get him back to the Manor. We'll finish up here," Fenrir said, deviously.

I opened my eyes again, and I was back at the Manor with Draco. Ollivander lay at my feet, and Peter dragged him away, aggressively to the dungeons.

I ripped the mask off my face, and pulled off my hood. My parents ran up to me, and attempted to hug me, but I dodged them. "You don't have the privilege of treating me like your child. You forced my life away, and I'm now partaking in crime! You two are just evil, and neither of you even bothered mentioning that you've wanted me to join him for years!" I yelled.

They shared a sad glance, and my mother began to cry. "You wouldn't be crying right now if you hadn't made me become a Death Eater, mother, so suck it up. I'm the one who has to watch my back now, because one slip up, and we'll all be dead. And let me remind you once again, it's all your fault!"

"Blair! Stop it!" my father sneered.

"No. I hate both of you!"
