The weeks went by at a crawl as my due date neared. I've been staying in bed most of the time now, but Blaise and Pansy have been staying with me because Draco has been really busy as he's been doing extra work for Voldemort since I can't do much anymore.
Right now, Draco is at a meeting so Blaise and Pansy were eating dinner with me up in my room.
"I can't wait to meet our godchild!" said Pansy.
"Me too," Blaise agreed.
I gave them both a soft smile but jumped when the door slammed open. Draco charged in wearing Death Eater robes. He never wears the robes, so I knew he was about to be involved in something bad.
"What's going on?" I asked, opening my arms to him.
He pulled me into him and kissed my forehead gently.
"Draco-"
"I have a task. I'll be back later. Blaise, Pansy, keep an eye on them."
"Are you okay?" I asked as I grabbed his shaking hands.
"Fine. Our mothers will be here if you need anything," he said hurriedly.
Draco pulled my face to his and kissed me quickly. "Stay safe. Both of you."
Before I even had a chance to process what was going on, he had turned and left.

I hate having to leave Blair, especially as clueless as she is now, but I don't need to add more worry and stress to her plate. Besides, Voldemort had said we'd return by morning so I wasn't that worried.
I hurried down the stairs which led to the foyer. My mother and Valentina waited at the bottom.
"Stay safe, Draco," said my mother. She pulled me in for a quick hug and then handed me my mask and broom.
"As long as Blair is okay, I'll be fine," I reassured as I hurried to the door.
Several other Death Eaters stood outside the manor in Death Eater attire. I slipped my mask over my face and walked over to where Julius and my father stood. Voldemort stood before us all.
"Remember the plan," said Voldemort before vanishing into a thick cloud of black smoke.
I mounted my broom with only two intentions: To not stick to the plan, and to keep Blair and our baby safe.
Everyone around me started to kick off the ground, and I did the same. They all had the intentions of stopping Potter from getting to his next location, but mine was to help him by rebelling against my side. Rebelling was the only shot Blair and I have at freedom, and it's worth the risk.
We flew deep into the night and within moments, the trees had turned into roads which signaled we had reached the city. Father flew at the front of the flock and pointed straight ahead at a group flying towards us on brooms; we found them.
Within seconds, trails of light were whizzing by in all sorts of directions. I ducked out of the way and flew into a cluster of clouds in hopes of not being spotted doing nothing.
I watched as Julius and my father pursued Potter, but my attention was pulled away when a ball of light came flying at my head. I ducked out of the way to see Potter...another Potter, different from the one that Julius and my father had been pursuing.
"Get them all!" Antonin yelled as he also noticed that there was more than just one Potter.
A third Potter blew by me on a broom and I decided to chase them so it at least looked like I was following orders.
