Sebastian parks a certain distance from the Sorority to us not be seen together. I mention opening the door to leave the car, but he pulls me by my arm, keeping me inside it.

Sebastian: I'll pick you up at one-thirty in this same local.

"01:30 am?! Really?! I'm not a baby!"

I roll my eyes at him if he thinks he can control me.

Khawla: At four, Seb.

Sebastian: One thirty.

He insists. I let out a tired sigh. I'm not let him puts me bonds or behaves like a father to me. I hate control freaks!

Khawla: If it's late for you, don't worry, I can go back home on foot. It's not far away anyway.

Sebastian: I insist on coming. You know very well that Mystery Spell is a dangerous city.

I scoff at him.

Khawla: Yeah, yeah... Very dangerous. Full of vampires, witches, werewolves, and druids.

Sebastian's facial expression is severe and closed. He isn't happy with my answer and with my wish to be back home late at night, or should I say, early in the morning?

Sebastian: You know what I mean, Khawla.

I only send daggers to him with my look, displaying all my anger at him and his remark.

Sebastian thinks for a while before answering me back.

Sebastian: Okay. I'll pick you up at two o'clock sharp, and it's final.

I glare at him. He crosses his muscular arms over his chest and has a stern look on his face.

Khawla: In this case, you don't need to come. I'll go back on foot by four in the morning.

I try to open the car's door again, but it's locked by inside. I turn to look at Sebastian and scowl at him.

Sebastian: I'll be here at two. And, if you are not in this exact place, I'll go inside the Sorority building to pick you and drag you back home.

I'm dumbfounded by his words. Is he really serious?

Khawla: You wouldn't dare!

Sebastian: Try me!

I don't answer. Sebastian raises one of his eyebrows and has a smug smile on his lips, full of mischief. I cannot say if he's just playing with me or if he would be capable of doing so.

I keep staring at him without uttering a word. Then, I mention leaving again, but the doors are still closed by inside. I turn around with an enquiring look.

Sebastian has a serious, dark, and closed facial expression. He's worried about something.

Sebastian: Khawla, promise me you won't drink tonight.

I'm dumbstruck by his request.

"It's a party, right? This is what you do while partying..."

I can read certain pain in his fierce amber eyes too.

Khawla: Come on, Seb! It's a party! I wanna have fun!

I try to argue.

Sebastian: You don't need alcohol to have fun, Khawla. Plus, you don't know when to stop when you begin.
