"No. I can't think about it tomorrow. I have to answer him now."

The message Viktor has sent me disturbs me.

"Seriously that he was ironic in a point of wanting to give me a kiss of goodbye?! Is this connected to the role exchange between him and Nicolae?"

I need to answer Viktor, or I won't be able to focus on the discussion about the campus party. I need some privacy to answer him, so, I stand up, pretending I need to go to the bathroom. Well, it isn't only pretending after drinking so many glasses of Coke...

Khawla: Where's the toilet?

Anna: You go straight, and it's the second door on the left.

Khawla: Thanks.

I head to the bathroom to pee and text. Indeed, a very weird combination. But tell me who isn't guilty in texting while in the loo. Texting, reading FaceBook, playing Is It Love?... I giggle under my childish thought. After I wash my hands, I answer Viktor back.

[Kiss of goodbye? I know very well what type of kisses you like and where you wish to place them. No, thanks. My neck isn't available to you, Viktor Bartholy!]

I don't have to wait much for Viktor's answer.

[Oh, little bandrui. You've broken my heart with such harsh words. But I'm delighted to know you're Nicolae's assistant, and we're going to meet some more times.]

I growl angrily. It isn't pleasant to meet the evilness in person, and even vampires don't like to meet him. Viktor always has something in his sleeves to deceive people and hurt them badly. And I'm indeed alerted with his true intentions, although he already left clear that he wants to couple me with Nicolae. But, sorry, a charming werewolf already have taken my heart.

[Be sure that it isn't a pleasure to meet you, Viktor. I'd prefer you handled your business from far.]

[Don't say that, little bandrui. I was always too much good to Susana and you.]

Why does he have to mention my grandmother's name? He seemed very sentimental all the times he mentions her. Which secrets these both hold? So, maybe it isn't so bad we meet again, I have questions that need answers, and he's the only one who can give me them.

[Well, depends on how you define good, Viktor Bartholy.]

I wait for a little, but he doesn't answer me back. Is it possible that, somehow, I've hurt Viktor's feelings? No! That old fox doesn't have feelings! Maybe he's at the airport getting an airplane back to East Europe, or on a business phone call.

I'm focused on my mobile screen, waiting for his reply when a hand on my shoulder makes me scream and jump scared. Sarah!

Khawla: Oh, Sarah! You've just scared the joys of life from my body! Gosh!

Sarah looks at me stunned. She didn't expect that I was so far in my thoughts, that I didn't hear her approaching me, mainly because the bathroom's door is so noisy like a haunted house. It needs some oil in the hinges.

Sarah: Sorry, Khawla. You were taking longer, and we get worried, as you're still sick. I came to check if it's everything okay with you or if you need something.

I breathe deeply for a few times to regain some control after the fright. My heart is beating accelerated, and I'm a little bit shaken. I go to the sink to water my face to calm down my nerves. I'm drying myself when my mobile beeps again. I rush to take it, thinking that it's Viktor, but it's only one more message from Sebastian.
