The papers are exactly where I left them: all around the office, as a hurricane has hit it. Good! Because it'll keep my mind busy for a while. I need to keep my mind busy not to get nuts... All these roller coaster of emotions are making me feel tired and drained.

I start to catalog the papers as soon as I identify the subjects of the box: everything related to the construction of the manor: construction material, marble, wood, furniture... and everything related to the construction of Mystery Spell University too.

It looks like that all fine details of the manor was Nicolae's choice, as the receipts are in his name. He has good taste. The manor is stylish with all these most exquisite items of furniture from the XIX Century. Everything is so wow and imposing! Although I think it's so old fashioned! He should renew and follow the new tendencies. Maybe he needs some tips about interior décor...

I only worked for two hours, and I start to feel feverish. I need some rest! I'm pushing my body over its limits. Indeed, Sebastian and Nicolae were right that I was stubborn in attending classes today while what I need is to rest. I should be thankful to Nicolae for convincing the doctor to release me to go home while he wanted to keep me for some days at the hospital... tied up to a bed.

I let the papers all around as before and go to my bedroom for a nap.

***

It's midnight when I wake up. I've slept for good hours. I dress a black cardigan over my black pajamas to protect me from the cold wind of Mystery Spell nights.

"I hope everybody is sleeping..."

I sneak out of my bedroom and go through the corridor and downstairs in tiptoe to not be heard. I go through all the way till I reach the backyard, and I continue till the beginning of the forest that it's just behind the manor. I can see everything clearly, as the full moon is shining in the sky and the weather isn't overcast.

I sit next to a tree and start to meditate and connect myself with the nature to reenergize. I close my eyes, take a deep breath and try to empty my mind. As I'm connecting with nature, I can hear all the sounds of the forest: the crickets rubbing their legs in their unique rhythm, an owl hooting not so far, and leaves rustling shaking by the soft breeze...

Druids use meditation to deepen their sense of connection to all life. It also intends to bring peace to the heart, calm down the restless mind, and healing the body. Everything I need. There are three weeks that I don't go through druids' practices, and it weakened my health and powers.

I'm meditating for a while when I feel a presence near me. I'm curious to know who is. I open my eyes, and a huge black wolf is looking at me with his big fierce amber eyes. He's observing me with some curiosity. He poses me no threat and I'm not scared either. I have no reason to fear forest creatures. We, druids, can handle them in a friendly manner.

I stretch my hand into his direction and try to use my druidess spell to bring him next to me. I want to pet him a little. I love animals and let's say that a fish isn't exactly a pet that you can stroke its fur... I like the sensation of fur against my skin and how it warms my heart.

I assume my druidess form: light gray eyes and pupils as thin as in cat eyes.

Khawla: Come here.

The huge black wolf doesn't move and stays there, staring at me, observing each of my movements like a predator does with its prey, although I'm sure it isn't his intention to make me his prey.

"Am I so weakened that I can't even make a simple wolf to obey me?"

Although I'm as weak as a baby kitten now, I'm sure that what I need is only to concentrate a little bit more. I let out a long sigh, focus and try again.
