Sebastian: As everyone knows, there are many different chains of narration on how an ordinary human being can be transformed into a vampire. Today, we're going to see just a few of them from Hollywood's blockbusters and literature to what great mythologists say about this topic, although, in some points, it converges.

It seems Sebastian has changed his mind about keeping only the transformation as Hollywood stories not to pose a risk to us, mythological, legendary, and folklore creatures, and giving hints to the witch hunters find us and exterminate us all. I'm a little bit shaken, as I don't know what is in my werewolf's mind; however, one thing is a sure-fire, he knows exactly what he is doing and the reasons behind it.

Sebastian turns back to his desk and grabs a pile of papers. Then, he starts to distribute them among the students. Everybody that receives the handouts runs their eyes eagerly throughout the text, to get to know what's there, what knowledge Doctor Professor Sebastian Jones is bringing to them, and that is not in the syllabus nor can be found in any book available at Mystery Spell University's library.

Sebastian comes to my desk and hands over the handouts to Sarah and me. She, like all the other students, gets it and reads it eagerly to know what is in the papers as such topic is really a trend within the Mystery Spell University's students, and there is a lack of material about this theme available. I raise an enquiring eyebrow when I receive the handout. My look displays all my worrying, but my beloved wolf winks at me, like saying, "trust me, everything is under control".

"I really hope so..."

I don't want to worry about more things than what is already going on. It is a little bit too much for my little heart. I can't cope with more mysteries, riddles, and puzzles. Since I have arrived in Mystery Spell, my life has taken a U-turn, and everything is upside down. And I've been here as little as two months!

Sebastian goes down all the way to the platform to start his class about transformation. He is staring at me with those fierce amber eyes of an experienced predator. He is observing my very reactions to what he is going to teach, as he knows I know almost everything related to vampires, as I have lived my entire life with them, and I have an original in high esteem.

Sebastian: The chain of narration that I have numbered as one, says that vampirism would be like a virus, and the person bitten by a vampire would get contaminated with this disease. The transmission of vampirism would be done from the teeth of the contaminated creature to the blood of his victim through the small holes made in her or his neck.

All students are paying close attention to the teachings of Professor Jones. It is clear as crystal their interest in the subject, which makes me wonder if they do know that vampires are living among them. He continues explaining the transformation by this first chain of narration.

Sebastian: And, with just one bite, if the vampire sucks the blood of the victim till he or she be on the verge of dying, then, when the person wakes up from her or his trance-like state, she or he is already a vampire.

I sigh alleviated in knowing that chain number one that Professor Jones is explaining is not all the truth about how the bloodthirsty undead creatures transform human beings in one of them, that some details in how it occurs are not-spoken. However, my alleviation lasts little, as he continues in his explanations about transformation, and I'm getting uneasy with this.

Sebastian: Kindly observe that, as per this chain of narration, the victim must be almost dead to be transformed into one of them. But vampires and humans can have a relationship with it feeding itself from the victim without suckling all the blood and without turning its... let's say, hmm... meal.
