"We have got to stop using sex as our coping mechanism." Lillian chuckled as she threw on one of his white shirts to cover her body. The knocking at their door got loudly, most likely waking up Remy. "I'm coming."
"I bet you are!" Hange called through the door making Lilly roll her eyes with a chuckle.
"How may I help you on this grim day." She smiled at her friend, letting her in to sit on the sofa in Levi's office.
"We had breakfast plans." The Commander reminded her, spotting Levi standing in their bedroom doorway shirtless. "With Remy in the next room?"
"Our room is on the right of the office his is on the left, I think we're quiet enough that he won't hear us two rooms over." Lillian rolled her eyes once more. "Let me quickly throw proper clothes on and I'll join you in a moment."
"I have to leave now." Levi said quietly, knowing how much she hated him leaving for long missions.
"Be safe." Her hands went to the back of his neck, playing with his hair as she pulled him in for a kiss. "And remember why you need to stay alive."
"Because I have a wife and son." He repeated, grabbing her waist to pull her closer. "And I need to protect them."
"I taught you well." She joked, gasping when she felt his hands slip under the shirt to stroke her soft skin. "We have been going at it for three hours this morning."
"If Hange wasn't in the next room I would bend you over your drawers." He whispered in her ears, smirking as her cheeks flushed red. "But you're right, you better get dressed."
"God damn you, Levi!" Lillian growled at him as he walked into the joined bathroom. She threw on a black blouse and wide legged trousers before wrapping her funeral cape over her shoulders. The edges beginning to become worn from how often it was used.
"I was starting to think I might have to take Remy to breakfast instead." Hange joked to the woman as she bounced the said child on her knees.
"Did you dress him?" Lilly raised a brow at the brunette woman, smiling to herself as she secretly thanked the Gods for having her around. "We better go get breakfast before it becomes lunch."
"Be safe." Levi embraced his son one last time and kissed his wife before his family left. The mission not having a proper end day.
"I hate this." She sighed, waving at her husband before the door shut. "I can't wait to live an easy life. Somewhere in the mountains away from everyone."
"I promise to get a house nearby." Hange nudged her as they went to the stables to ride into town.

"I hate death." Lillian sighed as she stood beside Mikasa, everyone else had left after the small military service. "But in the end we all die."
"You have a grim outlook on life." Mikasa side glanced at her. They both placed flowers on her grave and sat beside it, both feeling guilty for the death of their friend. Lilly wrapped an arm around the grieving girl, pulling her close as the rain soaked them.
"Hey! Aren't you a Marleyan? What the hell are you doing here?" A random voice disturbed the peace of the cemetery. The two glanced up in surprise, spotting a Military Police beating up someone on the ground. "This graveyard is full of people your kind killed."
"Wait! Let us take care of this guy." Jean and Conny ran over to deal with the Marleyan.
"Sasha's really dead?" The two women overhead as Nicolo glanced up from his position on the ground.
"Yeah."
"Why? What the hell were you guys doing?" Nicolo questioned as he stumbled to his feet. They explained everything that had happened to Sasha on the mission to the upset man. "Shot by a kid who sneaked on the airship? It's too ridiculous to be true."
"It was no ordinary girl. She's been trained." Mikasa reassured him, knowing how close the Marleyan prisoner was to Sasha.
"A Warrior candidate?" He stated the proper name of the two children.
"I let my guard down. Sorry." Jean apologised.
"Why apologise to me? All I did was cook her food." Nicolo sighed sadly, never taking his eyes off her grave.
"Thanks for letting her eat so much tasty food, Nicolo." Conny placed his hand on the man's shoulder.
"You meant more to her than you think." Lillian inputted, leaning her weight against Mikasa's side.
"What do you think about this, Conny?"
"Sasha and I were like twins." He answered gravely. "It feels like half of me is gone."
The sound of approaching footsteps caused them all to glance up, spotting Sasha's family approaching her grave.
