Lillian sat in a window seat, ignoring the world as she delved into an old book. Her peace was disturbed by angry yells coming from the front gate, her blue eyes glancing over at the commotion. She chuckled to herself as she spotted a protest about Eren Jaeger saving them.

"What are you two doing this time?" She clutched her book in her hand and raised a brow at the two soldiers.

"Going to the Premier." Armin answered her truthfully.

"Lead the way, children." Lilly gestured for them to keep walking as she followed behind.

"I hear Hange's all over the place." The Premier stated to the three as they stood before him.

"Yeah. I guess something needed checking out." Armin said.

"Indeed. And I permitted a volunteer to go along." He nodded, continuing to watch the protest out the window. "I can't allow you three to meet Eren."

"Why not?" Lillian demanded, confused as to why she cannot see her godson.

"Because we know Eren had contact with the volunteers." The Premier informed them. "Eren kept quiet about his secret meeting which resulted in the raid on Marley. We are currently investigating if anyone else was involved with it. Eren hasn't said a word since the truth came to light. We're still in the dark about what he did during his time in Marley, too. We believe that Eren is being manipulated by Zeke. I'm telling you this because it's you three, but keep quiet about it."

"What will happen to Eren?" Mikasa burst out before they all glanced at a familiar torture chair. "Is that?"

"Hmm? It's nothing." He waved off their concern. "I had recruits bring it here since there was nowhere to store it."

"But, Premier, if Eren isn't talking, all the more reason I think we can help." Armin tried to reason with the man as Lillian sat back in her chair. "I'm not sure we can get the truth out of him, but there's no harm in trying."

"The situation is too delicate. We're done talking here." The Premier shot them down.

"Why?" Mikasa mumbled after they left his office. "You're right that there's no harm in talking, so why can't we?"

"One explanation might be that they've completely given up on Eren." Lilly pursed her lips as she thought. They passed three military police, stopping to glance at the suspicious people knocking at the Premiers office.

"If that's true, they're already picking the next Founding Titan." Armin agreed with her.

"I'll listen through the door." Mikasa whispered to them.

"Wait, Mikasa." They both grabbed the headstrong girl, stopping her from walking back to the office.

"It's fine, I won't get caught."

"We can't risk it right now!"

"With all that's going on, we've gotta find out their plan." Mikasa argued with the pair. "No matter what happens, I'll make sure Eren-"

They were cut off by an explosion from the Premiers office. Lillian protected her stomach as she easily hid her small frame behind a pillar while Mikasa pushed Armin down.

"Are you two okay?" Lillian coughed as she checked on the pair.

"I'm fine." They both stuttered as Lilly checked over them both for severe injuries.

The three ran through the corridors and out into the courtyard, finding the other soldiers.

"You guys okay?" Mikasa yelled out before freezing to speak to Hitch. "Hitch! What was that?"

"The Premiers room just..." Hitch trailed off, still in shock.

"Where is he?" The girl glanced behind her where a military police was draping a coat over the top half of the deceased man.

"Give your hearts!" A civilian yelled out. "Our anger reached 'em! Now's the time to fight!"

"I'll fight too!" The crowd roared, all ready to fight the military. "Give your hearts!"

"Premier Zachary owned a "special" chair. We believe a bomb was placed on it." A military police read out the report as everyone gathered in a meeting room, Hange joining them with Onyankopon. "He and three soldiers were lost. The culprit and their goal is unknown."

"The volunteers were on house arrest and this one was with me all day." Hange reported back, gesturing at the awkward man behind her.

"Who else could be responsible for it?"

"The Premier said some recruits brought it to his room." Lillian spoke up with a bored expression, worried about her baby.

"Recruits from where?"

"He never said where." Armin continued to inform him. "But when Mikasa and I went to his room with Lillian, we saw recruits leaving HQ. Scout recruits."

"Speaking of Scouts, I hear some of them leaked the info about Eren." Commander Nile stated as everyone's faces paled at the mention of the Scouts.

"It's an emergency!" A soldier burst into the room. "Eren Jaeger has escaped from his cell!"

"Mobilise everyone and find him!" Nile ordered.

"Hange." Lilly mumbled as she grabbed her friends hand. "What the hell is happening?"
