"Erwin?" Hange squinted as her eyes finally opened, staring up at the blonde figure leaning over her.

"Oi! My eyebrows are not that thick!" A familiar voice yelled at her offended. Her blurry vision began to settle and a smile spread across her lips as she looked at the person in front of her.

"Lilly?"

"You suicidal bitch!" Lillian snapped at her, sitting back to lean against the nearest wall. "I can't believe you tried to sacrifice yourself."

"Where are we?" Hange asked as she tried to sit up, hissing in pain but leaning her back against the headboard.

"Mine and Levi's secret house in the mountains." She shrugged, chuckling when she saw the shocked expression on her friends face.

"I'm sorry, Lilly."

"I wasn't about to let you die without finding out what gender this baby is." Lilly smiled at her, sitting on the edge of the bed. Her blue eyes looked out the window at the sun beginning to set, a sad expression on her face. "And I wasn't about to lose another family member. I couldn't save my brother but I could save my sister."

"Lillian." Hange teared up and embraced the woman, both crying silently together until the door creaked open.

"Is she okay?" Historia poked her head in the room, a baby wrapped up as a bundle in her arms.

"She'll be fine, for now." Lillian sent her a playful warning look and moved the clothes off the chair for Historia to sit down.

"What is this place?" Hange glanced around the room with confusion at the two women. Remy quickly ran into the room, jumping on the bed and hugging his aunt. "I missed you too, bud."

"This is our safe haven." Lilly explained, ruffling her son's dark locks. "Some where we can all retire to after the war."

"When I joked about all moving to the mountains to retire, I was joking." The three women laughed together at how literal Hange's joke had become. "Where's Levi?"

"Still alive." Historia said sternly, warning Lillian not to be so negative about the potential outcome of the war.

"Still alive." Lillian repeated with a sad look, trying to stay hopeful. "It's only been a couple days, they should be coming home soon."

"Would you like to hold my son?" Historia changed the subject, walking closer to Hange and letting her see her son.

"You should ask her who the father is." Lilly laughed, starting to cheer up as she cuddled her son close. "I'm a freaking aunt!"

"What?" Hange stared dumbfounded at the baby, stroking his brown hair before it hit her. "This is Eren's son?"

"I know!" The doctor squealed quietly, not wanting to set the baby off. "I was shocked when Historia told me."

"Stop!" Historia blushed heavily, passing her son to Hange to open a window, trying to calm her racing heart.

"What's his name? He is adorable." Hange questioned, grinning at the baby and pinching it's chubby cheeks.

"Elijah Jaeger." The Queen answered, sitting on the edge of the bed and playing with Remy as he bounced around.

"I feel old." Lillian nudged Hange gently and she gazed down at the small baby, tears gathering in her eyes as she rubbed her swollen stomach. "The next generation are having babies."

"I'm older than you." Hange paled as she realised the pair were becoming old ladies. "I'm retiring."

"I'll join you."

"I wish I could join you." Historia took her son back as he began to cry, hungry for food. "But I have an island to run."

"We can help you." Lilly offered, holding her son close. "It's better than working for the Scouts."

"It really is." Hange chuckled grimly. "I hope Armin is doing okay, I kinda sprung the Commander position on him."

"He is the best suited to take over from you so don't worry." The doctor reassured her as she lay beside her friend, cuddling her side as Remy dozed off on her chest. "They will be fine. We can have a party when they get home."

"A party sounds nice." Historia entered the room again without her son, sitting down on the chair as her eyes began to droop. "So does a nap."

"I agree."

"Does Levi know you're alive?" Hange glanced at the grieving wife. "Does he know you're here?"

"He does, I told him before I ran after you." Lilly hummed, cuddling her son as she dozed off.
