Chapter 21

It was Valentine's day, and I always hated this day. For some reason, this one felt different. Even though the day barely started. I got up off the couch that was in Colby's room. I made my way to the kitchen, hearing voices. I was not paying attention enough, to hear what they were talking about.

"Hey guys," I told everyone.

"Hey y/n," Katrina told me.

"What are yall up to?" I asked Kat.

"We are just figuring out what we are doing today," Katrina asked me.

"That sounds nice," I replied.

"Hey y/n," Colby said calling me.

"Yeah?" I replied.

Are you up to go somewhere with me today?" Colby asked me.

"Yeah that would be nice," I replied smiling at him.

"Okay well I thought about going around 12 if that is okay," Colby told me.

" Alright, I am going to get dressed then," I told Colby before walking upstairs.

Why does this valentine feel different? I asked myself. Maybe it is because I had a valentine? And this valentine pretty much liked me back. Who knows. I was taken out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on the door.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Are you dressed?" Colby asked me.

"Yeah, do you need to come in?" I asked Colby.

"For a second, I need to grab something," Colby replied.

"Okay, you can come in. I still need to figure out something to wear anyway," I replied.

Colby opened the door and walked in. He walked to his closet and brought some clothes.

"Just to let you know, You will look good in anything," Colby said as he smiled at me.

"Thanks, Cole," I replied smiling back.

"No problem," Colby replied.

"You can use my bathroom by the way if you need to," Colby added.

"Thanks," I replied.

"You're welcome hun," Colby replied.

I chose what I wanted to wear finally and made my way to the bathroom. I locked the door and started to change my clothes. So many thoughts were going through my head at once. I put those thoughts aside and, finished what I was doing. Once I was done, I went back into the main part of Colby's bedroom, putting my already worn clothes in my bag.

"Holy crap," Colby told me.

"What?" I replied looking at him confused.

"Uh nothing," Colby replied to me looking away. I swear he was blushing.

" Uh okay," I replied.

" I'm going to straighten my hair," Colby told me.

" Okay, I am going to put my make-up on," I replied.

I grabbed my makeup and went to Colby's bathroom. I used the other mirror so we have our own space to use. My makeup didn't take as long as it usually does. Once I was done, I went and put my makeup in my bag, and realized I forgot my straightener.

"Crap," I said to myself.

"What?" Colby asked me.

"I forgot my straightener," I replied.
