Chapter 3

I woke up to my phone buzzing. I saw that it was Katirina calling me. I picked up the phone and answered. "Check Colby's Instagram!" Katrina said in a excited tone. "I-okay" I said in a sleepy voice. I looked to see he posted one of the pictures we took last night. The caption read "Was hanging out with this Cutie." I smiled. "He did not!" I yelled. "Yes he did!" I heard Tara say. I was confused. "Sorry, I just joined..." I nodded my head and got out of bed. "Sorry, I just woke up guys." They understood and we continued to talk. I was reading through the comments while Katrina, Tara and I were talking.

"Who is that?"

"He is mine!"

"Awe Colby found someone."

"Are you two together? I hope so, you two are cute together."

I giggled reading that. "What's funny?" Tara asked. "Oh, just reading comments. Some are toxic but some are really sweet. The one I just read was cute." Tara understood and started to read the comments. I went back to the top and left a comment. I decided to comment with a blush face and heart. I continued talking to Katrina and Tara. "Uh guys..." I said reading a text from Colby. "What's wrong?" Katrina asked. "Well, Colby asked if I wanna stay over at his place.

"Do it!" Tara told me. I decided I would since it meant I could hang with Colby. I continued to talk with the girls, as I was packing some clothes to stay at Colby's place. A few hours later I arrived to his apartment.

We ended up playing video games for a while again. We eventually both got hungry and he ordered a pizza. We went through the pizza pretty quickly which didn't surprise me. It was a pretty small pizza. "Hey sunshine. Wanna watch some movies?" Colby asked me. "Did you call me sunshine?" I asked, blushing. "Y-yea." Colby replied. I giggled and told him I would like to watch movies. We chilled on his couch and he brought a blanket down, in case we got cold. We watched a few horror and romance movies. I started to doze off. As I was dozing off I felt arms wrap around me. I smiled as I was slowly falling asleep.

I woke up needing to use the bathroom, but didn't wanna wake Colby up. I tried to be really careful as I got up. After using the bathroom I noticed Colby waking up. "Sunshine, you ok?" Colby asked in a sleepy voice. "Yea, I just needed to use the bathroom. Are you ok?" I asked sitting back down beside him. We spoke for a while still feeling tired. A few minutes into talking, Colby and I ended up getting lost in eachothers eyes. He started to lean in closer and closer. When we got really close he pulled away. "S-sorry" Colby said as he looked down at his hands. "It's okay." I told him. "We almost kissed..." I thought to myself. Colby and I spoke for a while again before falling back asleep.
