Chapter 6

I woke up to the sound of silence since my phone was on silent from the night befrore. I picked up my phone seeing my phone was blown up from messages. I looked feeling scared that something happened. I was relieved to see it was just Tara texting me. She was texting seeing if I was up yet cause she was wanting to hang out. I replied telling her I just woke up and, that I would need to get ready if we were going to hang out. I looked through instagram while I was waiting for Tara to reply.

She replied after about 15 minutes saying that she still wanted to hang out. I got out of bed and started getting ready and read the text messages from Colby and started texting while I got ready.

Colby: "Hey beautiful"

y/n: Hey cutie, whats up?

Colby: Nothing much, you?

y/n: getting ready to hang with Tara...You wanna meet up?

Colby: I want to but I need a day to chill and think to myself... I'ma still text you though.

y/n: That is understandable, sometimes we need time to think.

I finished getting ready and texted Tara that I was ready. I sat in my living room waiting for her to get to my apartment. I looked at my phone when I heard a notification go off.

Tara: Hey, Katrina, Mike and Corey will be with us

I told her that it would be okay and started scrolling. I saw that Colby uploaded to his instagram story.

" I don't know why people can't understand and I don't know why people are toxic"

I got a bit worried and asked what was wrong. He was not replying for a while which worried me.

Tara knocked on my door and I got up to open it. "Hey are you ready to go?" Tara asked me.

I nodded my head and went to get my keys and purse before walking out, the door and locking it.

As I was riding in the car to go to where we were going to hang, I saw that Colby was not replying but read the message. I told my self that he is okay he just needed time to think. I did how ever text him a small message, showing that I cared and was there for him, and so were his friends and family.

"Hey y/n I do not remember if we have met before...But just in case, I'm Mike" I smiled and told him my name. "Nice to meet you"

Tara, Katrina, Mike and I were all talking until we arrived at a restaurant.

I saw that it was chick-fil a. We all got inside and ordered. Tara ordered something with no meat since she was vegetarian. The others just got nuggets or chicken sandwich. As we all sat down we started to talk again. "So y/n, are you seeing anyone?" Mike asked you as he smiled and blushed a bit. I gave a small smile. "Well actually yea...I'm talking to Colby.." He nodded and smiled. "Yea I was just asking out of curiosity, Colby has spoken about you before to me...And seeing how you tell me you are talking to him...It shows you will be a loyal girlfriend. If you were dating him" Mike told me.

"I agree with Mike!" Tara said as Katirna nodded and gave a thumbs up showing she agreed. " I agree as well" She said as she swallowed her food. "How are you and Jake?" I asked Tara. "Were actually doing good" She said as she smiled. "Actually I think he will be here soon, he said he wanted to hang out with us" We all started talking while we were eating until Jake got there. We all ended up going to a park to hang out. It was hot outside and I was wearing a hoodie. I took it off and Mike said he liked my shirt. "I looked down seeing it was the My Chemical Romance shirt Colby bought me. "Aw thanks Mike" I said while smiling. "No problem" I looked at my phone to see that Colby replied.

Colby: Im sorry if the story worried you. People are just being toxic.

y/n: Is it the "Fans" cause they have been commenting on my stuff being toxic.

Colby: Yea..sadly. Whatcha up to?

I sent a small video showing I was at the park with Tara, Jake, Katrina and Mike.

Colby: Aw you are pretty, and looks like your having fun.

I replied before l put my phone in my pocket. "Do yall wanna walk on the trail?" Katrina asked everyone. We all agreed to walk around and talk since it was a nice day out, even though it was kind of hot. We were all talking about what things we like to do. I looked around when I saw my name being called. All the others noticed my name being called as well.

"Hey are you the girl Colby is with in these pictures?" I smiled a bit and nodded.

"I ship you two." The person said. "Aw thanks, that is really sweet" We took a picture together before we parted ways and Tara, Katrina, Jake, Mike and I went back to hanging out. Katrina...I have a question. "Ask me anything" She replied "Well...If I ever told Colby I liked him cause I don't remember if I did..How would I?" She thought for a bit before replying. "Well make sure you are comfortable enough to tell him, If so then tell him how you feel, like tell him what you heart is telling you to say to him" I smiled "Thanks Kat" She smiled and hugged me. "Anytime y/n, im always here and so are the others." I thought to myself, seeing if I was comfortable to tell him my feelings, and how I would tell him.
