Cassie and I woke up around the same time. We didn't actually get out of bed for an hour. Once we did, we headed to the kitchen to make food. I grabbed a monster while figuring out what to make. Cassie recommended breakfast burritos. They sounded good but I didn't have many things to make them. Cassie and I looked in the kitchen.
"We can just order some," Cassie told me.
"Yea, that is fine, do you want Monster or anything while I'm still in the kitchen?" I asked Cassie.
"Sure, I will go ahead and call and place the order," Cassie told me while she went to grab her phone.
I went and grabbed a monster and sat it on the counter. I sat at the kitchen bar waiting for Cassie to get back. I looked through my phone. I looked at Instagram first looking at the things that were posted. I saw that Brennen posted a picture, with Colby. The caption said "#Brolby" I just smiled a bit and liked the post. I looked at the picture again, seeing that Colby looked sad. I hated this. I never wanted to ignore him, but he did hurt me. I just need to get my thoughts together, before I talk to him again. I noticed that there were new messages, and looked at who they were from. They were just from Devyn, Xepher, and Griffin.
Devyn: Everything going well? 8:33 AM
Xepher: I know I said we would not bring this up, but on Brennen's picture Colby looks sad asf. 9:10 AM
Griffin: Hey, how are you? The party make you feel better? 9:22 AM
I texted everybody back which took a little bit since I replied with paragraphs. I heard Cassie come back to the kitchen and we decided to watch youtube horror short films on youtube. I got out of my chair, still looking at my phone. I kicked something while walking. I looked to see what it was. It was the box.
"Shit.," I mumbled to myself.
"What is it?" Cassie asked me.
"I forgot about the box.," I replied and looked back at the box.
"Are you wanting to open it?" Cassie asked me.
"Honestly, I don't know," I replied before sighing.
"Well don't open it until you are ready," Cassie told me, giving me a small smile.
My phone went off, telling me I had a new message. I looked at the notification seeing that Brennen texted me.
Brennen: Hey, I know we don't talk as much as we used to. But I want to let you know that Colby does miss you. He hates what he did and wants to say sorry. I told him you would talk to him when you are ready. 10:00 AM
I did feel sad a bit after reading the message. But I knew I had to make sure I was ready to talk to him. I texted Brennen back when I thought of a reply.
Y/N: Hey Brennen. Yea Colby texted me a few nights ago wanting to talk. I told him I would get back to that. It hurts me that Colby and I are not talking. But I need to get myself together. Just please be there for him ok? I promise I will talk to him again. 10:15 Am
Brennen: That is understandable. I know a lot of people might have said this, and maybe you won't believe me, especially after the shit that happened. But I think Colby likes you. And I don't mean as a friend. He has brought you up so many times ever since you both met. But you didn't hear this from me. 10:27 AM
Y/N: I know I should not do this. But can you please tell Colby I will talk to him again someday? 10:30 AM
Brennen: Will do! Just don't wait too long cause I know you still have feelings for him. I do not want you to lose your chances. 10:33 AM
