Chapter 29

"Have you picked the bridesmaid yet?" Sam asked me. "Not yet," I replied. "The wedding is next month right?" Sam asked me. "Yeah it is. It's just hard to pick who I want to be a bridesmaid," I said before sighing. I took a sip of my drink before, going to the fridge. " Do you have a flower girl picked out?" Sam asked me. "Yeah, I'm choosing Tara," I said before, grabbing left over pizza. "My girlfriend is going to be the, flower girl?" Jake asked. "Where the hell did you com from?" I asked Jake. "My mom's tummy," Jake told me. 'Smart ass. And yes, she is," I told Jake.

"Does she know?" Jake asked me. "No, I am going to tell her soon. And then we're going dress shopping," I told Jake. "I'm happy for you two. Never seen Colby, so in love until he met you," Jake told me before, he walked to the backyard. " He's telling the truth. " Sam told me. "But there are so many girls in the world," I told Sam. "Yeah and out of all of them, he chose you," Sam said before getting up to hug me. I hugged back before speaking. "You are like a brother, I never had Sam," I told him. "That means a lot to me," Sam told me.

"Everything okay in here?" Colby asked us, walking into the kitchen. "Yeah we were just talking," Sam told him. "It's nothing bad is it?" Colby asked with, a worried look on his face. "Yeah, we were just talking about, who I was choosing for, flower girl and more," I told Colby, before walking up to hug him. " I thought it was going to be, something bad," Colby replied, hugging me back. He held me close to him, for a bit while playing with my hair. "This is like a romance movie," Jake said while munching on popcorn. "Where the hell do you keep coming from?" I asked Jake. " Places, " "Jake you keep popping up out of nowhere like a horror movie," Sam told Jake. " Sorry? I think," Jake told Sam.

"Well I need to call Tara," I said, before walking to my bedroom. "Hey, Tara!" I said after she answered. "Whats up girl?" Tara asked me. "Well I wanted to tell you that, I want you to be the flower girl," I told Tara. "Are you serious?" Tara asked me. "Yes," I said before smiling. Tara and I continued speaking for a while, before talking about where to meet up. " I will see you, there in 15," Tara told me before hanging up. I went to the bathroom to put my makeup on. I heard the door open and close, before hearing footsteps approach me, "Whatcha doing baby?" Colby asked before wrapping his arm around me. "Going to meet Tara," I told him. I heard Colby giggle a bit. "What?" I asked in a confused tone. 'Nothing. Just thinking about how lucky I am to have you. Colby said before smiling.

He turned to face me. " I love you," Colby told me. I felt my face turn red. " I love you too," I replied. Colby lifted my chin and leaned closer to me. Our lips were close to each other. I felt my face turn red. Colby pulled away from me. "Rude," I told Colby before, going to the closet to find an outfit. "You know, I love you," Colby told me. "Yup," I said jokingly. " Babe, I was messing with you," Colby told me. "I know hun, I love you too," I told Colby, giving him a smile. I picked an outfit out, and started heading out the bedroom. I felt a hand on my wrist as I grabbed the handle. I looked and saw it was Colby. He pulled me close to him. He wrapped my arms around him, and his own around me.

He leaned in slowly before kissing me. I kissed back, feeling my heart speed up. After a bit we pulled away. "I love you, please be safe," Colby told me, before walking me out, to my car. " I love you too," I told him. I started making my way to where I was supposed to meet Tara. The traffic was crazy. It was normal for the LA area sadly. I eventually made it to the place. I got out of my car, and began walking in. I saw Tara waiting for me near a fountain. " Oh my god, you look hot!" Tara told me hyping me up. "Thank you, I will say you look hot too," I said before smiling. "Thanks for choosing me, that makes me happy," Tara told me before hugging me. "You are welcome," I said before, hugging back.

We made our way inside and went to look at dresses. There were a lot to choose from. After about an hour, Tara and I narrowed it down to two. I decided to choose a dress as well, since I have not gotten one yet. I grabbed a dress, I was eyeing the whole time we were there. "Is that going to be your wedding dress?" Tara asked me. "Yeah," I said before smiling. "You are going to look beautiful," Tara told me. "Thanks, you are going to look just as beautiful," I told Tara. We went and paid for the dresses, before talking about a place to eat. Tara told me she would keep my dress at her place so Colby doesn't see it. It was around 6pm when I got back to the house. I walked into the house, and was greeted by Kat. She tackled me into a hug. "Hey Kat," I said before hugging her. "Did you have fun?" She asked me. "Yeah, I did," I said to her. "By the way, all of us are hanging out here tonight, Katrina told me. " That sounds like fun," I said happily.

Katrina and I walked to where Sam was. "Hey Sam," I greeted him. "Hey! How was it with Tara?" Sam asked me. "It was good. We found a dress for her," I told Sam. "That's good news," He replied. 'Yeah, it took a while though," I told Sam. "Shit, I forgot the flowers," I said in a stressed tone. "Girl, don't worry about it, we will help you," Katrina told me. "Sit down and relax," Katrina said before she went to the kitchen. I sat down, and noticed Colby was not there. " Sam, where did Colby go?" I asked worriedly. "He went to the store real quick. Sorry I forgot to tell you," Sam told me before smiling. "Okay, thank you," I replied. "No problem," Sam told me.

Katrina came back bringing us all truly. "Thanks Kat," I told her, taking a can. "You're welcome," Katrina said. After about ten minutes, Colby came back. I didn't hear him behind me. "Boo!" Colby said scaring me. "Fuck you!" I yelled. "When and where?" Colby asked me. "You two get a room if y'all are going to do that," Sam said. " Colby, I swear I am going to kick your ass!" I yelled. "I'm sorry Colby but, you are on your own," Sam said before laughing. "Sam, come on man," Colby said before jokingly pouting. "You guys are something else," Katrina said before laughing. "I'm sorry, okay?" Colby apologized. "It's okay," I told him. "I love you," Colby told me. "I love you too," I replied.

"Do you guys want to go to the theater room?" Sam asked before getting up. "Yeah, I'm up for it." Katrina said getting up. We all make our way to the theater room. "You guy's want to listen to music or anything?" Sam asked, grabbing the remote, to turn the screen on. " Music sounds good," Colby told Sam. "Okay, what song first?" Sam asked. "Ooo, do 'Pocketful of sunshine'!" Katrina said happily. "That song is, my childhood," I told Katrina. "Oh my gosh, same!" Kat said. The song was playing for a bit before Kat and I got up to dance. I noticed Colby and Sam were filming us but we didn't let that stop us. After a few songs, we sat down to calm down a bit. We began to watch a few videos, before Sam and Kat went to grab snacks from the kitchen.

Colby and I were sitting in silence for a few seconds. I saw Colby typing something on his phone. He began to stand up, after screen sharing, something. I noticed a song was starting to play. Colby helped me up, and rested one hand on my waist, the other, holding my hand. I rested my free hand on Colby's waist. We started to move around, and that is when I noticed the song was, ' Make Damn Sure, by Taking Back Sunday. The song started coming to an end, and Colby rested his forehead against mine. "I love you so much," Colby told me. "I love you just as much. Maybe even more," I told Colby.

"Aww, how cute," We heard Sam say. " How long have you been here?" Colby asked. "Since the middle of the song," Sam said. "You guys are meant for eachother," Sam added. I noticed Colby's face was red. " Thanks man," Colby said, before smiling. I noticed Katrina was there too. "Hey Kat?" I said, getting her attention. "Hm?" Katrina acknowledged. "Do you want to be my brides-maid?" I asked Kat. "I would love to," She said before hugging me.
