Chapter 16

I woke up with an arm wrapped around me. I didn't remember falling asleep within anyone's arms the night before. That is until I turned myself around to see Colby. He was already awake, looking through his phone. I saw him pause what he was doing. He looked at me and smiled.

"Morning beautiful," Colby told me.

"Morning Colby," I replied smiling at him.

I sat up telling Colby I had to go to the bathroom. I walked to my room and grabbed some clean clothes to change into. I walked to the bathroom and, brushed my teeth, and changed. I went back to the living room. I started to smell food, which was weird since I have not even cooked yet.

"Hey, I ordered us food while you were asleep," Colby told me handing me a frappuccino.

"Thanks, Colby," I said taking the frappuccino.

"Your welcome sweetheart," Colby said looking into my eyes.

I looked back at him and then looked away when I felt, a blush creep on my face.

I went and sat on the couch watching TV when I down Colby sit by me. He handed me a danish.

"Thanks, Colby," I told him.

"Welcome love," Colby replied to me.

We started to eat our breakfast while watching TV. I noticed Colby was playing with his ring. It was probably a thing he did when he was thinking or something. I noticed that he moved closer to me, before putting an arm around me. I continued eating my danish, hoping my blush would not be so obvious.

"So, Valentine's day is this month," Colby told me.

"Wait, it's already February?" I asked looking at my phone.

"Yea, it's the 10th."

"Anyway, will you be busy on that day?"

" I don't think so," I replied.

"Okay, well make sure you keep that day open," Colby told me.

"Uh ok, I will try," I told Colby.

"I have to go, cause I have things to take care of," Colby told my moving his arm off me.

"Okay, be careful Cole," I told him getting up off the couch.

Colby started to pull me closer to him. I wrapped my arms around Colby hugging

him. I was wondering why he was asking if, I was busy on Valentine's. Maybe he was planning something I don't know. I usually spend valentine's by myself eating chocolate. I used to spend it with my best friend until we went our separate ways.

"Are you ok?" Colby asked me.

"Uh yeah. Why?" I asked Colby.

"I don't know, you were zoned out for a while," Colby told me.

"Yeah. I was just thinking," I replied.

Colby sits back down on the couch and he signals me to sit with him.

"You seem to think a lot. Are you sure you are okay?" Colby asked having a worried look on his face.

"Yeah, I just overthink a lot," I replied to him.

"Listen. I do the same thing. Just, if anything is bothering you talk to me. Okay?" Colby told me.

" I will, the same thing to you though. Okay, Colby?" I said looking at Colby.

" I will let you know if anything bothers me. I promise," Colby said giving a small smile.

I noticed he started leaning closer, so I leaned in as well. Our lips were touching before Colby pulled away.
