Chapter 7

I was sitting in my apartment thinking of how I should tell Colby my feelings. I thought I could take him some where to eat and then hang out at his place... But it sounded like something a lot of people would do. Colby and I were texting while I was thinking.

I decided to call Katrina and Tara over seeing if they had any ideas. Thankfully they both said they could come over.

I texted Colby that I would be a little busy today, so if there are late replies that is why. He understood and he said he would be a bit busy as well, since he had to do something. Katrina texted me saying Devyn would be coming as well if it was okay. I replied letting her know it it. As I was waiting for them to arrive, I decided to make snacks for all of us. I made it Vegetarian for Tara. I got drinks out setting everything on the table. I made sure everything was clean enough before they got here. After seeing it was clean enough I sat on my sofa.

After a few minutes there was a knock. I opened it to see it was Tara Katrina and Devyn. "Hey guys" I greeted them. I hugged each of them as they walked in. " So y/n what do you want to do?" I walked to the kitchen and sat at the bar. "Well...I have been thinking, and I want to tell Colby I have feelings for him" Katrina jumped up and down clapping. "For real?!" She asked excited. "Yea... I am scared of the results though. " I replied. "Y/n it's okay, I am pretty sure it will be a good result" Tara told me. "I agree, like he talks about you a lot and, when your name is even mentioned he gets all blushy and shy." Devyn told me as she sat down at the bar with me.

"Do you have some sort of Idea of what you want to do?" Devyn asked me. Kat and Tara sat at the bar. "Thanks for making snacks for us y/n" Tara said as she grabbed some to eat. "Your welcome" I replied. "And also yes I do. I thought of maybe either singing him a song by My Chemical Romance and then hang out for a bit before telling him.." I told Devyn. She smiles.

"Thats a pretty good idea since he likes My chemical romance... I have a few ideas though..." Devyn said. "Lets hear it" Tara said as she got a drink. "Well...How about this. Yall can go exploring somewhere and maybe yall can get something to eat and maybe hand out at his place then sing and tell him.." Devyn said. "Dev! Thats a good idea." Katrina replied to Devyn. "Yea I will probably do that" I told Devyn. " You should y/n!" Tara said in a excited tone.

"Yea maybe I could do it this weekend if he is available." I told everyone that was there. "Well text or call him and ask" Katrina said in a happy tone. I looked at my phone that was ringing.

"Incoming call from Colby Brock" The notification said. "Well perfect timing" Tara said. "Okay everyone be quiet" Devyn said. I clicked the answer button.

Colby: "Hey sweetheart"

y/n: Hey Colbs. I said as I smiled.

Colby: I-uh. I was wondering if you wanted to go out somewhere this weekend? Maybe go exploring?"

y/n: I was about to ask you that actually. My answer is yes though! I said in an excited voice.

Colby giggled " Okay nice, Ima let you go so I can figure where we should go explore.

y/n: "Okay love, Bye"

Colby: Bye sweetheart"

The call ended and everyone jumped up and down excited. "Oh my gosh he just asked you on a date!!" Tara said. "I know! I'm excited about it" I said in an excited voice. " We can help you pick out what to wear if you want to...or stay over and pick out that day" Katrina said.

"Yea yall can if yall want to, I have two spare bedrooms. One of yall can use my room." I told the girls. "Okay sounds good. We are going to get some things so we can stay over" Devyn repled.

All the girls left to go grab some things. Colby and I were texting and, he said we could explore Saturday of that is okay. I told him it would be fine. I got the spare rooms ready for the girls to stay over.

It was not that many days away from exploring with Colby as it was Thursday. I was excited yet nervous since I have not been on a date with someone in a good while. I told my self everything would be okay. After a while the girls finally got back. We just watched movies and hung out the rest od the day.
