Y/N's journey through the maze

Part 7

"Wake up sleepy heads!" A voice says waking me and Newt up. "Thomas?" I say looking up at the blinding sun so I couldn't see anything. "Nope it's Minho." "Oh hi Minho." He just looks at me and Newt. I elbow Newt to wake him up. "Hi mate." He says to Minho. Newt gets up and hugs Minho then they both grab a hand of mine each and pull me up. Newt rubs his hands together and says "Is it time for breakfast?" Minho just laughs and he and Newt walk over to everyone else to grab breakfast. I slowly catch up with them. All I could think about was last night and how safe I felt whilst being with Newt. I quickly got the thought out of my head because I have only been here a day and I could not possibly be interested in someone who I barely know.

I go and sit next to Chuck to eat my breakfast. Thomas come over to hug me and says "Morning Y/N, how did you sleep?" Before I could say anything, Minho interrupts me and says whilst laughing "I'm sure she slept well seeing as I found her and Newt asleep this morning on the grass next to the wall together." Thomas almost looks hurt. "Shut up Minho, we just watched the sun rise." I say laughing. "Come on Thomas we have to go, the doors opening in a minute." Minho says to Thomas. "Okay, lets go." I get up and hug Thomas and Minho, "Be safe guys." They wave and go off into the maze. "We have to go and sort out jobs today shortie." Newt says to me as he gets up and walks over to the garden. "What is with this  nickname Newtie and what job have I got to do today?" He looks at me, "Today you can help me out in the garden with Chuck." I go over to the garden and stand with Chuck. Newts at the other end on the gardens working hard, he looks up at me and smiles. I wave at him. "So do you fancy Newt?" Chuck says to me with a smirk. "No, I've only been here a day, I'm only just getting to know everyone." Chuck looks me up and down, he says "Yeah sure, must be lucky having both Thomas and Newt crushing on you." I just look at him and say "Oh shush you and get back to work."

I walk over to Newt and he goes "Hello Y/N, how are you?" "I'm fine, I just wanted to ask you something." He smiles, "Go ahead." "I know I haven't been here long but I want to be a runner." His face changes to a really worried look. "It's so dangerous in there, are you sure?" I nod. "Listen if your sure I don't see why not but I will have to ask Minho first." I jump up and down. "Oh my god, thank you, thank you, thank you." I get really excited and kiss him on the cheek and then I run back over to Chuck to tell him what Newt said.
