I wake up really early because I want to take Newt somewhere for the last time of being in the Glade. "Newt. Newtie. Wake up." I whisper to him so I don't wake Teresa up. He stirs and says "Are you okay, Shortie?" "Shhh, we don't want to wake Teresa up. Come with me." I say and I get out the hammock. "Where are we going?" He asks. "You'll see." I say as I grab his hand and take him out of the tent. We walk together, hand in hand for a few minutes. Then I stand still. "We are here."

He looks around, I could tell he was really confused at first but then he realised. "Y/N this is so cute." I sit down and say "I thought we could spend our final night in the Glade together like how we spent my first night here." We are sat near the wall just before the sun rises just like we did on my first night in the Glade when I was so scared and confused, but when I layed there with him on that day watching the sun rise I knew things were going to be alright and they have been. Newt cuddles up to me, "This is perfect Y/N, I couldn't ask for a better last moment in the place that I have called home for the last 3 years. And I couldn't ask to be here with anyone else but you. I will remember this moment for the rest of my life." He turns to me and smiles. "Newt, I wanted to bring you here to thank you. Thank you for everything you have done for me in here. Thank you for looking out for me. Thank you for allowing me to make my own choices. But most importantly thank you for not giving up and for having just enough hope to get us out of here. Today we are leaving and we are leaving together. Me and you and the rest of our family. There is no one else in this whole entire world I would rather be sat here with right now." I say nearly on the urge of tears. "Y/N I love you." Newt says. "I love you too Newt, forever and always." He goes into kiss me. "Remember we can't kiss until we get out of here Newtie. It's my insurance policy, making sure you will get through what we are about to face, for me." I tell him and then I kiss him on the cheek. "Oh Shortie, you will be the death of me one day." We sit there and watch the sun rise for the final time whilst being between these four walls. "There's a whole other world waiting for us out there Newtie, and today is the day we find it."
