Y/N's journey through the maze

Part 23

Wow I thought. Wow, wow, wow. Last night was amazing, I spent the whole night with Newt and I got some things off my chest which has made me a lot happier. We all got a lie in today which was so nice. I spent most of the morning cuddling up with Newt and then arguing with Minho because he told me off for staying in bed all morning with Newt. He loves me really though even if he says he doesn't I know he does. "Minho you love me really." I say teasing him. "I do not Shortie!" He demands. Newt is just say there laughing at us and telling us we are like siblings. "Awwww long legs do you want to join the cuddle is that what's up. Awww come here" I gesture him over and he comes and jumps on top of Newt and I. I burst into absolute hysterics and Newt says "Get off me you lump." But Minho proceeds to get in the middle of me and Newt. "See guys we all love each other really" I say in between my tears of laughter. Soon all the boys were now in the cuddle. Suddenly Chuck does the loudest fart ever which makes us all laugh so much more. Our laughters were interrupted by one of the men coming to get us to tell us it's time for lunch. We all get up and scurry to the cafeteria. I whisper to Newt on the way there, "Is it just me or does this feel like prison?" He doesn't say anything, he just nods and holds my hand.

We all get our food and head over to a table where some boys are already sitting. "So how long have you guys been here?" Thomas asks the group of boys. "Only a few days, but that boy over there he's been here the longest." We all look over at a boy who is sat by himself playing with his food. "Aris?" I say. Wait how do I know that? "Yeah that's his name have you met him before?" One of the boys asks me. "No I've never met him well at least I don't remember meeting him. I don't even know how I knew his name."  I say. Newt looks at me with a concerned look. "Have you guys seen Teresa? I need to speak to my sister!" I shout without even realising it. The guard quiets me down. I get up and go over to Aris. "Y/N wait what are you doing?" Gally asks me. "It's fine I'll be right back."  I say as I sit down opposite Aris.

"Umm hi, you probably don't know who I am but my names..." Before I can finish he says, "Y/N." "What how did you know that?" I ask him. "I'm not sure, this is weird I don't remember ever seeing you before in my life but I knew your name." Aris says to me. "That's exactly what happened to me." I say to him, "Something is going on here, do you know anything?" I ask him. "Listen Y/N meet me later in the vents tonight, I'll come and find you okay? Tell your friends that you can trust where you are going but don't tell Teresa whoever that is." He says to me in a serious tone. I nod and then he says "Whatever you do don't go with Janson and don't let any of your friends go with him either." "There's no way I would let them go with him anywhere. I'll see you later Aris. Oh and by the way Teresa is my sister." I tell him. "Oh I'm not sure why you shouldn't trust her but just don't." He says to me. I nod and walk back over to the boys.

"Hey how was that?" Newt asks me. "It was fine." I turn to him and whisper "I need to tell you and the others something later but it needs to be private." He nods. I hear a voice saying my name, "Y/N! Hey!" It was Teresa. She comes up and hugs me, I look at Aris from over her shoulder and he nods at me. "Come and sit down T." I say to her. "I can't stop, they still are doing tests on me but I wanted to let you know I was ok." She turns to walk away. "Teresa why are they doing more tests on you." I ask. "I'm not sure but everything is fine okay, bye Y/N, bye boys." I run after her and say "Who's Aris?" She stares at me blankly. "I'm not sure." She says. "T cut the crap I remember his name and he knows mine but we don't know why and you seem to remember everything about ours lives before the maze so just tell me!" I shout and then everyone in the canteen is looking at us. Newt, Minho and Thomas come over to me, so do some guards to split us up and take Teresa back for her tests. "TERESA!" "Cousin! He's our cousin!" Teresa says as she is taken out. She walks past the window and looks at me, I stare at her for a few seconds and then look away from her. I know she's keeping something from me but I just don't know what.
